  1. You could check a current cruise. Generally they can be relied on about 7-10 days prior to sailing. If it is a 7 night cruise they may be already loaded as a place holder under Loyalty and Suites the last one far right - on some ships they stick along with the other restaurants. Of course they are subject to change but they usually use the same stock menus on all ships starting with Day 1 Menu.
  2. Room Service and OVC use lavazza. I personally find it very acidic and can only drink it with milk or cream. I usually drink Black Coffee. They have Whole Milk, Cream, 1/2 and Skim Milk in OVC They may not have all of the choices next to the coffee but near the cereal they hae individual boxes of Whole, Skim and Almond Milk. At al Bacio Espresso $4.00 Cappuccino, Late and Americano $5.00 Americano is 2 shots espresso with hot water added
  3. You should have no problems with a 12:30 flight out of EWR. I've previously been able to make an 11:30 without even rushing.
  4. They have Virtual Safety Drills -- either direct on the App or TV. When you complete you stop by your muster station and get a short briefing or not - they scan your seapass and your done. Less than 1-2 minutes If using the App - Click the Ship Icon - Swipe Right - Choose Safety - It will show you your Assembly Station and if you click Find on Deck they show you a map of where it is. mine is A4. theater
  5. We were on a B2B on Solstice in December. We had Premium. Our first cruise was the first cruise they turned on the Starlink connection and it was a bit touch and go an lost it for a day. I think it was part of the tuning it for the passenger load. By the second cruise it was operating really well and I was getting up to 25 Meg up and down but latency was sometimes delayed. My understanding is that on cruise ships the routers take all the signals and sequence them so no one connection can hog all the bandwidth. I was good enough that I could stream YouTueTV without any buffering.
  6. While the ship arrives at 6:00 AM disembarkation usually doesn't start until 7:00 for walkoffs and then general disembarkation by luggage tags. All Tags are usually called by 8:45 with last call to get off around 9:00 Even as a Suite guest that disembark first at about 7:15 wouldn't book a flight earlier than 11:30 AM. It is possible you could get an earlier tag and might make at 10:40 flight but your nerves may be on edge and would have a blackup plan if you miss your flight with most flights going out full.
  7. With the exception of Lobster you can order multiple Appetizers, Entrees and Deserts. I've also ordered an Appetizer as a Entree and they adjust size to that of an Entree.
  8. The drivers really worked well with the passengers and if someone need their other bag they would dig it out for them. We were met at the airport like at FLL with an Agent and a Celebrity Sign - she pointed out the porter to us and gave us a sticker. There was another plane landing shorty so we had to wait about 30 minutes. We were then loaded on a bus and transferred to the hotel. If I recall we put our Celebrity Luggage Tags on the bags and they delivered to our room. They broke our bus up into two meetings and did the Welcome, Handed out copies of the excursions, colored tags and answered all the questions. We were then on our own for the evening. While on the land tour they had a desk setup with the Tour Guide to help with any issues, book excursions and answer questions. It was really well organized and you really got to know your Guide an Driver well. The accommodation in Talkeetna was a distance from the town and the driver said he would be going into town and invited anyone that wanted to come along (which was not part of the tour).
  9. In the past the confusion was that on the Classic you had the premium coffee's of cappuccino etc and premium teas included but only Premium Package covered the Premium Drinks made with the higher end booze. I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong. I believe you can still get a shot of things like Bailey's in the classic.
  10. I've been on many Holiday cruises and there has usually been a Mass if there was a an officiant aboard as well as non-denominational services. Also have seen Kanukkah services listed in the dailies.
  11. My experience on many B2B's is that last call is between 9:00 and 9:15 AM. They then zero out the ship so they can begin B2B Processing. B2B processing usually begin at 9:30. B2B are back on the Ship between 9:45 - 10:00 at most US ports. In the "Good Old Days" you could remain on the ship late for an additional fee or Free as a Zenith but they discontinued that with Covid and never implemented it again.
  12. On our Land Tour - At the hotel meeting first night they gave us two colored luggage tags - You make the decision. One color stays locked on the bus and the other is delivered to your room at each stop. Some chose to have it all delivered every night but added to the work of the porters. You were advised at each hotel what time you needed to have your bag outside your room in the morning. We usually travel with a Medium to Large Suite case and a LARGE Suitb ag that holds about as much as a suite case but mostly dress clothing, dinner jackets, dress shoes etc etc. At home we split out what we would need for the 3 days on land - of course didn't nee dress clothing and much of our heavy coats and sweaters etc we were wearing. We also Carried a Backpack and Small Duffel with us as hand luggage. The land portion is Casual and you can survive easy with just jeans, sweater, casual shoes and heavier jacket.
  13. I initially had the same problem. It said that either there was a currency difference or with different travel groups. I contacted my Agent and he fixed it in less than 5 minutes. In my case I was paying for both with the same CC and were both booked with the same agent.
  14. While some may not be able to take care of a price reduction post final payment, the reduced price for a SS might be close enough to a lower cabin price to make it attractive to pay the small difference to move up. It also may be an indication this will be a good ship to do a move-up bid.
  15. They use a RFID Card and also at least on the Revolutionized Ships you can use your smart phone with the app.
  16. You will have no problem. The CheckIn time is just the earliest you are suppose to show up. You are free to immediately checkin anytime after that as well. I had the same experience recently where my flight arrived about my boarding time. As many people show up early there are usually absolutely no crowds later.
  17. They thought of that also. I didn't have it running but the shut off again and no joy then they had me uninstall it still no luck. I think it totally had to do with my account being locked. Funny because Iain's was fine.
  18. Using the App - Click on the reservation - Select the Head Icon Top Right It will tell you the date Check-In will open - Come back on that date or later and you can either just click CheckIn Time and select a time and come back to complete CheckIn or do it al at the same time. On that day you should be able to get the first slots.
  19. It is dependent on many thing. If you both have reservations made directly with Celebrity you should be able to link the reservation yourself by clicking Manage Reservation and at the very top choose Link Reservations. Also may be possible if booked with an Agent but I had to have my agent fix mine as it wasn't linking correctly.
  20. I never thought of you as naive. Iain is of course from Scotland and even across the UK we have noticed differences. Our friends in Australia and New Zealand are always asking what they should tip - even on a cruise. I know that some of our relatives that were visiting Florida told us at many places they automatically put a tip on because of their accent. I really don't believe in that. Most of the time in the U.S. if you have a large party they automatically include an 18% tip on the entire groups charge. In that case unless I were to receive way above average I would not be inclined to tip.
  21. I haven't been on Millennium lately but would expect it to be available. I was recently on Summit also post Revolution and the Basketball/Pickleball was still there. They had the nets setup on Summit and balls and paddles were in the benches. A picture from CruiseDeckPlans shows the markings which I believer are Pickleball Al Bacio is the best coffee you will get. They do have Americano which is black coffee. IT is not free. Include with both Classic and Premium packages or al la carte. The free coffee is in OVC and it is pretty tough to drink without putting something like milk in it. I simply call it battery acid.
  22. We will have to do another Alaska for sure. There is so much of Alaska that I want to see.
  23. Right across the street from the Bus / Train station is where virtually All of the Vaporetto's depart (they are more a bus than a Taxi) the average size one holds up to 230 passengers. They also have water Taxis available in front of the station but really expensive at around €100+ but hold up to 12 passengers. Vaparetto tickets cost €7.50 or daily and multiday tickets for 2-day (€30 ), or 3-day (£40) pass. Weekly passes cost €60 euros each. There is plenty of room on the deck for luggage. Many of the hotels hear the Station provide porter service by giving them a ring.
  24. Agree noon would be safe. Generally disembarkation begins at 7:00 for walkoffs , followed by Suites at 7:15 - They also then begin calling numbers. If you are booked on a Celebrity Transfer you will generally meet in the Theater and given a Tour Sicker which equates to your Bus. They call the numbers and you board the bus. The last call is usually 9:00-9:15 so I would expect you to be on a bus long before 9:00 but again that's just "USUALLY".
  25. Yes they do have it but expensive. Last I saw the un-discounted price was 1 Hour of Continuous use $34.00 1 Day of Continuous use $67.00 If a CC member Elite or above you will have minutes of non-continuous time as a benefit and discounts against any internet package.
