We had a similar problem, though slightly different, several years ago when we booked a cruise to China and return flights through a large travel agency. They actually booked our return flights before we left Australia. Luckily I picked it up that night and was fortunate that we hadn't signed anything so we were clear. I think because the agency did so much business that the airline waived any penalty otherwise the agent would have been out of pocket.
I had an identical thing but unfortunately I signed for it .
They put the responsibility back on me saying I accepted it.
I had to pay for two more retun flights. Never again will I deal with the captain ,most of them are just kids . -

We are the same with Majestic leaving tomorrow. Arrive 8.30pm. In December on Brilliance we had 2 full days which was great.
I’m on edge in two weeks.
Originally it was port Arthur for a full day and then 2 full days in Hobart.
Now it’s Eden and arrive in Hobart in the evening ,then a night there and leaving the next day. Two sea days back to Sydney.

I'll be on the Grand in a couple of weeks which stops in Hobart overnight. We arrive about 8.30 pm. Is there anything worth seeing if I get off the ship at that time of night? Pretty lights? I'm booked on the full day tour down to Bruny Is the next day so wont be visiting the city centre but have been there a few times before. TIA.
It’s pretty bad how the cruise lines are advertising it an overnight.
You would think it’s 2 full days or close to it.You could have a walk around but Hobart is just a big country town.

They’re bringing the Bellissima out here. If RCI keeps two ships out here the west coast is going to get competitive. Carnival will finally have some competition. How will ground transport and hotels keep up.

Surprisingly Navigator doesn’t appear to be doing any Hawaiian cruises.
Probably keeping there fuel burn down.
2 ships just idling down to Mexico and hooking up to shore power with bring their emissions down.

Apparently wonder is unaccounted for next year after April.
Do you think it could fit into Asia somewhere.

I can't imagine the Uber/Lyft wait times with both in port the same day.
I’m thinking the Navigator bookings will soon disappear.

That port area will be fun when both ships are departing the same day.
Looks like Quantum will be doing 4, 5, 6 and 7 day cruises.
Their shore services will be busy with 2 ships on the same day.
Do you think they will fill 2 ships? I thought they might have sent Navigator to Australia.

I am watching the Captains Corner on Quantum live at home.
The Captain claims Lelepa should open in 2026.
If this is the case surely work on Lelepa would start during this Winter.
Chilli plenty of stuff mentioned on better fuels.
2026 that’s only a couple of years??
As for fuel, that’s a big thing with the vast distances we have.
Theres been a bit of news on nuclear. I know you are rolling your eyes but Bill Gates is a credible name.

You know that I take it as an insult and I made that clear years ago, somehow you still have failed to gain a clue. I'm really not sure why you would be interested in knowing if we are coming to Sydney, unless of course it is to insult me face to face.
Sorry Lyle , I’m sure everyone on this forum would show you and your lovely wife a warm welcome in Australia.

They get a bit touchy about that A word. You would think it had four letters in it .

Hi Chillburn. I hope I am correct that you are from Australia. Would you mind telling me your opinion on whether you prefer to sail to/from Australia in the fall (Oct-Nov)versus the spring (March/April)? Is there a better time of the year to sail? Thank you.
The weather is getting unpredictable but to our north,Queensland and the Pacific Islands are tropical. After January they get as we call them cyclones you call the hurricanes.
And March/April New Zealand the weather can turn nasty.Storms come straight of Antartica.
But I wouldn’t bother we have a large area and the ships will just go somewhere else to avoid the bad weather.
Jump over to the ANZ forum, there’s lots of locals to ask.

Price policies are different for Australians. You should ask this on the Australia forum.
That forum is just for princess cruises.

Things are constantly changing and no one tells you.
There was a price match scheme and I believe it’s still active.
To my knowledge they will match a lower price but you have to find it and you have to apply for it.

I believe that these port bookings are old. Originally, it looked as though Royal were going to offer an Eastern Mediterranean season over the Winter 25/26 period, similar to what Celebrity are offering on Infinity. This looked to be a homeport in Athens (Piraeus), with a focus on Greece, Egypt and Israel for around 7-day itineraries. Some of the bookings have been removed in other ports, like Limassol, Cyprus and Haifa, Israel. So it looks like due to the regional conflict, these plans have been scrapped.
The Aus bookings are much more recent and highly likely to be what is actually released in my opinion. However, how they would get Voyager over there, potentially without without a Suez Canal repo, will be interesting. This makes me question whether they will replace Navigator with a QC, then send Navi down under, thus keeping Voyager on the Atlantic side. Or… will they still send Voyager to Aus and chance it with a repositioning?
A Voyager repositioning around the bottom of Africa would be interesting.
But Voyager has been here before and Royal likes to Advertise an all new ship with that WOW feeling.
The only Voyager class that hasn’t been here is Navigator and Adventure.- 1

Out of curiosity I looked at this link and can see Voyager of the Seas in December 2025 in Brisbane, but nothing on the RC website. We’re looking to do Australia and Asia again around then.If Voyager does a reposition to Brisbane I’ll be on it.
But it could be a place holder for another ship,it happens all the time. They swap a similar ship at the last minute. It could possibly be a place holder for Navigator. There’s speculation about Navigator being bumped by a Quantum class.

We will be on Brilliance the week the 25/26 comes out (if it’s on time). Are there any real benefits to booking onboard any more?
Brilliance is nice ,it’s getting old though.
Some people think it’s worth booking onboard,I’ve have never done it .

So do you think Ovation will be going to Singapore Glen?
I don’t think it has been home ported there so Royal will be able advertise it as a new ship.
