This was the virgin ships itinerary,I think you can expect something like it. I have the voyager repositioning through the Suez Canal booked and we have a plan B ready. At the moment we are going to fly home from Dubai but if it goes around the bottom of Africa ,We will fly home from Cape Town .

@springaussie Any word on your repositioning cruise on Anthem Glen? Things seem to be taking a turn for the worse in the Red Sea area.

That’s a very motivating video there Geoff. Probably the most inspiring thing I’ve seen on this Royal Caribbean thread since they released their 2025 -2026 Australian season . I reckon if you had some subliminal advertising in the background on the outrageous prices and repetitive itineraries that Royal have . You might be up for a advertising award of some description. I noticed they only deliver in the U.S , how do you receive the medallion here ? Is it in the cabin or something?

No price drop match in Australia anymore,so my agent said. Since the cruise with confidence program ended there’s only 3 day cooling off period after booking that they will reprice it ,so I’m told.

It’s pretty obvious things won’t calm down in that region quickly. So Glen ,Anthem will need more time to get around the bottom of Africa and where will they get that from? They will have to drop a cruise or something to get more time.

One thing I have noticed about the 25-26 season,no ships go to Adelaide or Melbourne . Thats Royal Caribbean ships,not Princess Geoff because this is a Royal Caribbean thread, LOL So there’s a hole there that needs to be filled.

They did that with serenade when it was supposed to come to Australia.I think it was majesty they used and changed it to Serenade. Theres been a bit of speculation about one of the two radiance class that will be in Alaska coming here 25-26. Radiance and Serenade will be in Alaska for the 2025 season .

@springaussie A local big cruise specialist has just overhauled its website and now lists Enchantment of the seas in its search engine for Australia. Its got all of Anthems and Voyager but when you select Enchantment ?

I ended booking the last cruise out of Ravenna though to Dubai. A bit steep ,a single in a Promenade,21 nights $ A 8,200 . Lets see how I go

A cruise like that,just give it a week and it might come down. I was going to book Ovations repo to Singapore and while trying to organise people it doubled in price. Cruises like that you have to get in early .

It’s a good thing,full suite entitlement with out the fancy cabin.

I’m trying to think here Micheal Sea ,is basic Junior suit with only ,coastal kitchen access only, no suite lounge. Junior suite sky ,should give you full suite entitlement . Just like a grand suite or above.

I was thinking of flying into Frankfurt or something and a road or rail trip ending in Venice .Then the last Adriatic cruise that ends in Rome and b2b onto the repo.

I think I will go ahead with it ,Singapore airlines have a pretty good refund policy. If they change the repo they would have to drop a cruise or two. Im just wondering if it would be in the Mediterranean or Brisbane. What do you think?
