  1. I wouldn't be concerned. If anyone from Indy parked there, they will be gone and their spots left open as she's leaving PC for Miami after the current cruise on Friday. And everyone parked there who is on Wonder right now will have just left and opened up tons of spots.
  2. Thanks for the info. We normally get there early and of course there are normally only 2 ships sharing Terminal 1 with one of them having just disembarked so parking has always been a breeze (and in the garage). This is a unique situation and unfortunately this is the one time we won't be there until noon or so. I don't care where I park as long as there's a spot somewhere.
  3. @Ozzie26 That's odd. I assumed they would fill the garage first then move on to the surface lots. I'm boarding Allure tomorrow while everyone from your sailing and the current Wonder sailing will already have parked (good times, I know). How full were the surface lots when you were there?
  4. Personal preference. I’d happily sail older Oasis ships (going on Allure tomorrow actually) but I prefer to only sail from PC b/c it’s an hour drive, prefer 7N to short cruises, & loved Wonder so I have several Wonder cruises booked. My 2 GS experiences were great but I would never spend the extra money for one at this point in my life b/c I have a great time sailing frugally. I understand why you book them though… personal preference.
  5. You're very welcome. I just stumbled onto it. I spend a lot of time looking and re-looking at stuff for no good reason, lol. I have no idea why they buried it where they did. Typical Royal IT.
  6. If I can walk from my car to the terminal, I will be happy. And if it is slightly less convenient, I'll just have less time to eat and drink myself into happiness that day.
  7. Yeah but some of the Wonder people disembarking for you will most certainly have garage spots. I'm just hoping to get a surface spot. Won't even be there until like noon to make matters worse.
  8. What are you complaining about? You can at least grab a spot vacated by someone getting off Wonder. How about when I go to park on Wednesday for Allure? There will be people parked from Wonder and Indy with no one disembarking!!! I don't care about parking in one of the newly paved surface lots. My car won't melt while I'm gone for 5 days and bird s#!% is good luck, lol.. I just want to be able to park somewhere! I actually contacted PC and was assured there should be enough parking with the new surface lots but worst case they would make us park somewhere else and shuttle us. I have no interest in off-site parking so I'm just going to roll with it. This was a last minute cruise we wouldn't normally take so while I'd prefer to have everything planned and settled and running smoothly like I normally do, it beats not taking a bonus cruise.
  9. We usually get there early (9:30-10am) and park on level 2. Always plenty of spots from whichever ship just disembarked and it's just one level down to the porters and entrance which are on level 1.
  10. Sounds like you're describing Terminal 1 (the terminal I always use). Posters above seem to be familiar with Terminal 5 and are describing something different. That said, although we also choose to park and wheel our luggage to the porters in Terminal 1, you do have the option of dropping your luggage off and then parking if you prefer.
  11. It’s still there, just harder to find (which is dumb). See below…
  12. If you don't like going there for the evening happy hour snacks (or the view on ships that have a nice CL location I guess), I agree there's not much reason to. I really like some of the hors d'ouvres otherwise I'd only be there for my morning coffee.
  13. That would be an awfully empty lounge on many sailings. It can be empty with Diamond and up on some cruises. There were single digit Pinnacles on several Wonder cruises this summer.
  14. Yes, I've seen your posts and mostly agree with you. It seems clear that the top tier numbers are driving it; I'm just not fully convinced we know exactly how it's decided. Is there leeway? Is there an exact cutoff number? Does it vary by ship? Etc...
  15. There are Pinnacles in my roll call saying they heard there are supposed to be 41 on my cruise so maybe that bodes well. Who knows? They're using some super secret Pinnacle math formula to figure out if they'll have CK/SL access. That's above my pay grade. I just like having some snacks in the CL before dinner, lol. I'm not even sure what's considered a low or high number at this point. In the summer, when we normally cruise b/c my wife is a teacher, there were single digit Pinnacles and < 500 total D, D+, P... for multiple Wonder sailings (including ours in June).
  16. Not trying to be an ass, but "hundreds more" for something that costs $17000 isn't a huge increase, percentage wise. When my interiors that often cost under $1000pp are hundreds more, that's a big increase. I'd love to be wrong but I'm not expecting any "amazing deals" when the rest of the 2025-26 cruises are released in the coming months. And I'm not talking about Star which I expect to be have ridiculous prices. I'm just looking for what I considerable reasonable prices at this point.
  17. Yep, that's been my experience. A lot of stuff is there but you can't trust it fully until embarkation day.
  18. It seems to vary by sailing based on top tier numbers... maybe. Not sure we fully know yet. I'll find out soon enough.
  19. Switch to the current sailing or another ship if yours isn’t showing up. CK menus are all the same AFAIK.
  20. Only you can answer that for yourself. What something is worth to one person is worth something else to another.
  21. A full cake showed up in CK on Wonder for my MIL's b-day in June (and we even only asked our server for a candle in a slice early in the cruise). That's more commonly what we have experienced.
  22. This is similar to what I experience every time I cruise. A lot of it is bloating/water weight (even though I take Diurex to keep my legs from swelling) and comes off on its own in a few days just like in your case. The rest I take full credit for b/c I make no effort to eat healthy while cruising and enjoy eating quite a bit. This has been my conclusion ever since my legs swelled up like balloons the first time. I don't know the exact ratio of water vs. added salt and it doesn't really matter to me; I'm just happy my water pills solved the issue.
