  1. Definitely not this in my case. Put the coffee machine, breakfast spread, & HH snacks somewhere else, call it the crappy lounge, and I’d happily go there instead.
  2. And I don’t really get responses like this. You can’t understand why people may like to relax in a certain lounge with breakfast in the morning or snacks at night? It may not appeal to you, personally, but it’s pretty easy to understand why others of us do find it appealing. I don’t care for Broadway shows, never seen one onboard, but I would never post “I don’t get the appeal.” Everyone likes what they like.
  3. I did get off the 1st sailing from PC Monday but that would be my answer. All the above answers cover pretty much everything. There was still Blue Planet on my sailing (didn’t see it) but it was a one-off 5-nighter. Not sure how they can cram everything into 3/4’s so it may be gone. Also, b/c mine was a 5N & went to Cozumel/CocoCay, the schedule for mine won’t help with future cruises. For things like The Quest & Love & Marriage, just check the app for current sailings over the next few weeks. I’d think they’d settle into a pretty standard schedule doing the same exact 3/4 itineraries for the next 8 months.
  4. Nothing is included in that price except the fare, port taxes & fees, & obviously whatever is complimentary on the ship you’re looking at as far as food, beverages, entertainment, etc. If you want to buy any extras, you do that later, after booking the cruise.
  5. I was happy to be the exception... in that it actually did enhance ours, lol.
  6. LOL. I found it but hadn't seen it. Thanks. I don't know the author, no, but I post over there quite a bit. They often use quotes from forum members in their articles (and apparently pics too). I've been mentioned before. I'm internet-famous like that. 😁
  7. There are 2 live blogs currently going on at another RC site right now that you may enjoy. Sorry I can't link to them directly but they shouldn't be too hard to find.
  8. If there were people by the pool unaware of why you don't walk away and leave your food there like there were about 8 chairs down from us... that may have been where the seagulls were. 🤣 Alfred Hitchcock would have been proud of that scene.
  9. I've never had a fly issue there... it's the seagulls you need to watch out for when you take some food back to your lounger, lol. They are also huge fans of the food there.
  10. Not surprisingly, I also like Playmakers, lol. My dream ship would have both. I think Sabor is very underrated. We had the nicest server at Sabor on Allure Saturday. I told her the bacon wrapped chicken jalapeno app was my favorite thing on the menu... so she brought me a triple order. 🙈
  11. It's not the shortest walk, especially if it's hot out, and I wouldn't do it just to have lunch at CK (which I do think is very good, but I also love the food on CocoCay, it's just casual food like chicken sandwiches, mozz sticks, funnel cake, taco bar, burgers, bbq chicken, etc.) Sabor was great on Allure a few days ago. If eating there at 2pm works for you, maybe spend the morning at CocoCay (9am-1pm or something) and then just go back to the ship for Sabor?
  12. As you've basically pointed out, it's personal preference. However, lounging at a pool or beach with food and drink is very popular with people of all ages, IMO.
  13. I’d be disappointed if I missed CocoCay but if a cruise to nowhere is a “trip from hell” it makes me wonder what you like about cruising. You make it sound like you’re spending 7 nights on Anthem but only looking forward to CocoCay.
  14. Yep, on Allure now, was a bit windy in the morning then sunny and warm… was actually nicer with the wind. Beautiful day.
  15. As a general rule, it’s hard to fully trust the app for anything. And even if someone onboard Wonder right now gave you the live current list, it could easily change by your cruise.
  16. Yes, there are slots, but it’s small. It’s on deck 4. It replaced Jazz on 4.
  17. I’m not sure if I somehow missed it or if Royal is testing out a new late night option (which many feel is lacking) but when we left the 10pm aqua show last night I noticed the Dog House was open. According to the app, it closes at 6pm & then reopens from 10:30-1:30am. I’m not sure hot dogs are what people want but at least it’s something.
  18. Glad to hear! Bit of rain in the forecast for Sunday (which could easily be wrong) but as long as we can dock, I don’t care much about the weather. It was very hot on the beach in Cozumel today. I’m fine with some clouds & wind, lol.
  19. So you’re on Allure right now with me? You didn’t mention the date even after I posted I’d be on this cruise. 🤣 Glad it all worked out. Now we just need the weather at CocoCay to cooperate on Sunday, Enjoy Cozumel tomorrow & the rest of the cruise!
  20. Lol, thanks. It really isn’t that big a deal. I just like pointing out there’s a reason besides drinks & sitting there some of us like going to HH.
