  1. I am contemplating for 2017. We are 5 adults and 3 kids (11, 8, 6). I have seen a little info but would like some input by the 'been there, done thats". Can anyone give me the pros/cons of booking the 3 rooms for our group. One pro would definitely be letting the kids go to bed at an earlier time while most of the adults can go play. This coming trip (2016) we have 3 separate cabins and it would involve at least 2 adults to stay 'babysit' in the different rooms. TIA Any info will be helpful.

  2. We are cruising in 3 cabins with 3 grands plus parents and aunt. The kids will be room hopping for sleepovers. I purchased inexpensive cloth shower curtains ($8), DH made small, heavy duty hooks and attached them to the top of the curtains in 3 places (ends & middle). The magnets will hold a loop for the other end of the hooks and we will 'attempt to attach this to the ceiling. It will make for a room divider so the kids can sleep even tho' there's someone watching TV or reading. I'm hoping it works. If it does, after cruise I will post pictures. These will be easy to pack without adding much weight.

  3. When are you going? DH & I are doing B2B Nov 20- Dec 4. If there is vb onboard I make it a point to play. Sometimes they have 'adult' only, sometimes 'open'. I do find it 'dangerous' (& annoying) for littler kids who don't know what they're doing. The ages of your's seems ok. Enjoy

  4. Where did you find the 'dispatcher'? How did you arrange to get an 8 passenger vehicle for the ride back from HSB? Does the vehicle drop/pick you up at the bottom of the big hill? TIA

  5. We saw the 3 shows starting on May 5. WWRY was pretty good (kinda loud). We are going back on Anthem in June and taking the 3 grands. 10, 7, 5. We will 'babysit' the 5 y.o. for WWRY (too long for him to sit through and too loud for his sensory issues). The other 2: we will talk to the parents (who are also going) and decide if the 10 & 7 would enjoy them. The Gift... probably not. Spectra...maybe but iffy.

  6. We got off Anthem last week. In the Grande, the dress code requires men to wear a jacket. If you don't have one, they loan you one. You can wear it in and then put it on the back of your chair if you like. The other 3 free restaurants (Chic, Silk, American Icon) were very casual; nothing was said to anyone about attire. You will see everything from shorts and t-shirts to slacks and nice tops.

  7. Thanks Charles. unfortunately our group in 8 in total. I hear the mini van/taxi takes 7. Now I'm wondering if the 5 y.o. could be included and sit on a lap. Might be a tight squeeze with our beach stuff too... (pails, shovels, towels). At least taxi would be at the bottom of HSB 8-) hill I believe.
