...or maybe just ask cabin attendant for 2 buckets of ice in your room. Let it melt. Voila! cold and filtered.

We usually go to Columbus Cove. The last 2x we were there that buffet was CLOSED. Check your daily planner to make sure it's available. We were the only (smaller) ship in port. I guess they couldn't be bothered... Big disappointment cuz we didn't want to travel past the aggressive vendors just to get lunch.

UMDelt come join our Roll Call and sign up for the Meet & Mingle too. It's early but there are a few of us communicating about the Nov. 20-27th cruise.

Packing tip to help prevent wrinkles; use especially with "formal" clothes. Use dry cleaner bags (they have long (for dresses) and short (for jackets). Carefully place your <dress> in the bag and roll it up with the bag; kinda making it layered with the plastic. We always pack this type of stuff last into the suitcase. BTW I ROLL everything! Stuff doesn't slide to the bottom of your suitcase as easily. If your suitcase is not full, add/cram the plastic pillows that you from <amazon> packaging into your suitcase tighten up all you've packed. The pillows can just get popped when you unpack and then throw them out.

We use neon-colored zip ties. They can be easily cut off by anyone but we would know because they probably wouldn't be able to replace with a neon color. I keep a toe nail clippers in the outside pocket of the suitcase to cut them when we unpack in the cabin.

TIA. I have a group of mostly cruise newbies going on the Oasis in November. I have seen small, fold-up (pocket size) deck plans and another type that looks like a 4X11" piece of paper with the deck plans on it (similar to what you would find just outside the elevators). I would like to give each of the cruisers a deck plan of this type before we sail. Oasis is so large and this might help them all find their way ;-) Does anyone know where these can be obtained before sailing?

TIA for all your candid info. We were on the O many years ago and are also trivia buffs. The Schooner Bar, where they held the trivia opened up on one side to the middle of the ship and sounds came up to our area and it was difficult to hear the questions for the trivia. . Or for piano entertainment either. Has that changed? Was it easy to hear the trivia 'director'? Does anyone know if CATS will still be used in November?

Has anyone used this company. We will be in Nassau; looking at their snorkel/catamaran tour. I saw their company highlighted on AWE (A Wealth of Entertainment) TV. TIA

Sorry. I knew I forgot to add something. Right now it's scheduled for 6 am. Still 10 months away.

Flying back to CT after cruise. We want to book a flight time that won't give us stress after disembarking and HOPING we make it to the airport in time. What is a safe time to book our flight out? TIA

TIA for answers. Which if any of the Anthem shows would be entertaining/suitable for children about 6 y.o? Most of them have 'late' hours so that may also make a difference in our scheduling.

I would guess pool deck (11) Not sure which side; look for the ash trays.

Why is it so hard to wear a tie? My kids always were ties. My suit is cheaper than much of the clothes I wear. You don't need a tux, but seriously, a tie won't kill the kids
In a kind way: Please remember that although "a tie won't kill the kids", some adults AND children have sensory issues and can NOT have anything (including button shirts or ties) up around their necks. What you might see is your perception, not someone else's reality. BTW, yes, I am talking about being on autism spectrum.

Three weeks on the Quantum.
Two weeks and continuing on the Anthem.
I love my WOW band more than ever.
:)
Soooo. They can reprogram the ones we already own? I like that idea if it works. What is the procedure when you want to do this, please? TIA

We will be on a 5 night in May. There will be 3 kids; 10, 7, 5 y.o. Since I believe The Grande is one of the rotating restaurants, would the 5 y.o boy need a jacket? I am wondering how the 'formal' restaurant is handled with small children. They are not the quietest of children. The 2 older girls should be okay. Not sure about the rambunctious boy. Suggestions? I do like the idea of same wait staff every night.

Perfect! thanks for the info. Enjoy the Anthem. Cruising on it in May & June.

Reservations are open for both of these on our cruise. It is saying that minimum height for North Star is 42" tall and under 300 lbs. Ripcord simply says under 18 needs parent signatures. I don't think that seems quite right. Little kids can't go in NorthStar with parent?

We had a fabulous tour with Herod. I put together our group from our roll call. There were 19 of us. We had a great time. Having lunch at his mom's place, with a view of the pitons was amazing. We had time to do some snorkeling (or just swimming if preferred). It was an excellent tour.

Another question. I have booked 3 rooms for family members. I plan on putting all the charges for all purchases (for all 3 rooms) under my account. I have built up a good credit card bonus so will be having an OBC. I think I've just answered my own thoughts; ? All of the three room charges can be 'paid for' with my credit? Yes?

I am on our cruise right now. Due to poor planning on my part, I cut the meet-up time with Blue Water Safari too close and we (2) missed them. Our port clearance was longer than I anticipated. We were the only 2 from our ship and they left 5 minutes before we arrived. HOWEVER I will definitely recommend them because they were kind enough to refund our full payment. It was my fault and they were very understanding. They will get my business the next time still in St. Kitts.

I will probably need a small sharps container while cruising. Should this request be made ahead or is it okay to simply ask our stateroom attendant. The sharps will be capped and a small water bottle is large enough to hold what I will use for the entire cruise. TIA

We have had a couple of east to west sailings. They changed the clocks back aound 1 or 2 PM. It gave them more time to collect more $$ from casino play, drinks. Poor staff had longer hours too.
3 free drinks on SeaPass
in Royal Caribbean International

We are not big drinkers and usually just use 1 (each) for the 'dinner time' free drink special. This may have been asked before but I never needed to know. Can we get all 3 drinks at the same time or do they have to be bought separately. We will be sailing with family members who don't get this perk and would like to share our freebies. Does it maybe depend on our bartender's option? TIA
