    Bimini

There are places to rinse your feet, but they are located near the bathrooms (at least the ones I could find). So, essentially, you have to go from the beach past the pool to rinse your feet before going back to the pool.

    Bimini

We found the sand at the beach club to be some of the softest we have ever felt. Super comfortable on your feet, but since I have bad knees, it did increase the degree of difficulty in walking for me. 😄
  3. Uber/Lyft are definitely the way to go getting to/from airport, hotels and cruise port.
  4. Or find a good TA to help you with this.
  5. I think you have a better chance of some airflow on the balcony with the Cheeky Corner Suite vs. the Sweet Aft Suite. We stayed in a CC and it seemed to us that the SAS were so blocked in by the two corners that there was very little chance of any airflow.
  6. There are some older phones that will not support the app.
  7. I will say the event line up changed several times between first checking and actually boarding the ship. And yes, you have to wait until you are connected to the ship wifi to make event reservations.
  8. In Gunbae they may be able to give you some gochujang paste to add to your food or sauces, but it did not seem like a particularly spicy brand to me when I added it to the bibimbap (and I like things fairly spicy). In Extra Virgin, they may have red pepper flakes available (I never asked). Bottom line, just ask and they will do their best to accomodate. I can tell you that there is hot sauce available in the Galley if your husband wants to add spice to things up there.
  9. It will be interesting to see what happens.
  10. I didn't really look at the prices too closely, but I can say that most of DH's cocktails were between $10 and $13 on our 4/9 cruise.
  11. I applied for DBE the day it was announced that it would be extended into April and was able to get approved in time for my 4/9 cruise.
  12. The only ways to choose your room are to call VV or go through a travel agent.
  13. It took us over an hour to get from the entrance to the VV terminal last week.
  14. Can't speak to Loteria Gigante, but Bingo with the Diva was a lot of fun. The prizes on our cruise ranged from $450 to $1800.
  15. And in this case, they take it SUPER slow. It is only a two hour ferry ride between Miami and Bimini.
  16. I have been glancing at that schedule and Bingo with the Diva was 9:15p the last night, 1:30p Monday and now it doesn't exist. As others have said, the actual schedule can and will change several times before boarding (sometimes even after that). We missed it the first time we were on VV, but I don't intend to miss it this time. So, perhaps we'll see you there. 😃
  17. If by this you mean that it would be yourself and 1 of 2 people, I would just hold off until you are sure who will come. Not all cabins will accomodate 3 people and even if yours does, it would raise the cost of the cabin. Hopefully, well before the 48 hr. mark prior to your cruise, you will know who is joining you.
  18. It's only for voyages through April 2024.
  19. There may be times when substitutions/changes can't be made, but for the most part, they are very willing to accomodate. For example, I don't eat meat and the potatoes in Pink Agave list chorizo in the ingredients, but they made me the dish without the meat.
  20. The 48 hr. rule is for any name changes of a sailor (you can even change both names unlike most other cruise lines). Since the OP had a cabin booked for 2 without the name of sailor 2 listed, this should apply. And if you actually do need to swap one name for another, it is 48 hrs. prior to sailing.
  21. I know you can do name changes up to 48 hrs. prior to sailing. Not sure if this also applies to adding a 2nd sailor.
  22. I have found most of the roll calls to be far less active than they used to be. True, some lines have more activity than others, but it is nothing like it was in the past.
  23. The roll calls here used to be pretty active, but that started to diminish around ten years ago and now most have very little activity. I miss them being more active as I am not on any other social media platform.
  24. Go to the VV website. Then "Why Virgin Voyages", then 'loyalty program", then scroll down until you get to the info on "match and sea more program". Click on the link for "your current loyalty status" and it will show you a list of what VV matches to their program. And basically, you either match into the program or you don't. At the moment there aren't any levels to it.
  25. I would also advise scheduling dinner a bit later than normal the first night. Since boarding starts late and it is hard to resist trying something to eat when you get onboard, we weren't overly hungry at the 6:30p dinner we had scheduled on our first VV cruise. For our next cruise, we are having dinner at 8p our first night and then it is back to closer to 7p the rest of the trip.
