    I'll be on Eclipse in November cruising New Zealand out of Sydney - I'll let you know how us Aussies liked her and how she performed.

    Coming from WA I don't know the Sydney Port set-up. I am sailing out of Sydney on the P&O Adventure - where exactly do I head for - is it White Bay as mentioned by the OP? .

    The reports we are getting is that the suspect was involved in a police chase - the police car rammed his car and he was found dead in his car from "self inflicted injuries" - go figure.

    Sorry to sound like a scrooge, BUT coming from a country where non-tipping is the norm (Australia), and seeing that we have already paid gratuities in our booking Plus gratuities in the Specialty Restaurant booking, we don't leave any tips UNLESS the service has been exceptional.

    What came first the chicken or the egg? Is the limited passenger capacity because there aren't enough staff or are there less staff because the passenger capacity is low?

    It sounds as though the reports I heard are correct. Hopefully things will improve by the time I cruise in 5 weeks (fingers crossed)

    I'm booked on the July 23rd cruise onboard POA. Have heard some disturbing reports - so am watching this post with great interest.

    Absolutely agree 100% - the most sensible answer I've read. In fact that is exactly what I do in every Buffet situation

    Yes, I am booked on POA for July and it shows on my itinerary as Kona being the only Tender Port
