  1. Looks great. What’s the yearly maintenance consist of? Basically they will come out and power brush and put down any fill pellets if needed for $300. I Will basically leaf blow any leaves, twigs and debris off it. Pretty low maintenance.
  2. I figured what I have spent seeding, top soil, fertilizer, weed control, thatching, aeration. pver the year has been in the $1,000's. I just got tired of it all plus the dogs were tearing it up tracking dirt and mud into the house was the final straw. I just had to do something different even if it is pricey. Good luck with your lawn Maryann.
  3. Feels amazing just like walking on real soft grass. She said 20 years at least. Some folks have had it longer with no problems.
  4. I told them I was putting together a video and asked if they would take some off the price. They said they could not do that. I'm going to send it to them anyway and maybe they will give me a break on the yearly touch up maintenance. That's interesting and good to know. Thank you Pat. I will be careful with that with not only our windows but the heat.
  5. Yes that's all you have to do. But you can not power wash it because of the fine synthetic pebbles that help keep the grass looking natural and standing straight up. Clean up after the dogs will consist of picking up their waste (which we do) and any mess is cleaned by some water and dishwashing liquid and a soft brush. Should be real easy.
  6. Success! I could not be happier. We went from this. To this. Quite the interesting process. Here is a video I put together that has some time lapse in it of the installation. I hope it will be a good investment. Already the dogs just love it and I can finally not feel embarrassed about my back yard. Heck I may sleep on it tonight.
  7. Originally they said two but because I’m having them dump the dirt behind my retaining wall which had receded, they could go faster. The only delay was waiting for the gravel to be delivered. That was two hours of downtime. Then they ran out of gravel and had to get more which was another hour delay. They said they would finish up around 6-7pm
  8. Todays the day! So excited to get our new artificial grass for the pups. I’ll be doing a time lapse video to share later but here is what it looks like now. Grass is here.
  9. Im sorry to hear this. I sort of understand how he feels. When my knees hurt really badly I don’t want to walk either. I hope things get better for him. I will be thinking of you all.
