  1. Will do. Does he work any particular bar? I wish I could answer that but we are not Diamond yet and can’t go in. If I can find out the answer I’ll let you know.
  2. Top Tier info: Captain Marvin said the ship was full with guest numbering shy of 4,000 and a crew of 1,000 I did not get all C&A counts but I did hear there was 963 Gold, 143 Emerald, 269 Diamond and 52 Pins. Top Cruiser had 2,689 points Entertainment was provide by a couple of the Royal singers. and a pretty good imitation of Rodney Dangerfield by on of the MDR Head Waiters. IMG_9473.MOV Good time was had by all.
  3. Good point. I would have stood instead of asking to sit down because of my shoulder.
  4. totally agree and Gossling’s technically for a Dark-Stormy but I prefer it Kraken. That’s too bad. Starlink is up and working good on Liberty. Had this in the morning. Isnt get to be greeted by Louie the XIII? Did you get a glass. get the Lobster Thermidor and the veal together. They were both very good. cheers! Glad you are having a great cruise.
  5. My kind of snacks. Sorry I’m late thanks for permitting to come aboard. I’ll probably re read everything when I have more time. I saved your drink list. I would like to match you but think I better take it easy with a broken collarbone. Alcohol on Liberty is lacking. Boats full, shy of 4,000 guests
  6. I just love Josh Allen. In my opinion he’s a better QB than Mahomes. Chiefs O line was horrid. Going to be a long season for the chiefs if they don’t start playing better. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. Not sure what the reason was for a broken collarbone but our meeting with Elaine was meant to be. She needed someone to help her and watch over her. I can tell she is still grieving. Linda and I are determined to be a guardian Angel for her.
  7. Remember the lady we met in line for entrance into the terminal. She lost her husband not too long ago and this was her first ever cruise that she was supposed to go on with her husband. We ran into her again. Her name is Elaine. She felt relieved that she saw us. She is still struggling as she does not know what to do. We gave her some suggestions and finds out she is on our excursion tomorrow in Cozumel. We told her to hang with us. Linda and I have adopted her and promised her a good time. I gave her our cabin numbers and our phone numbers. I told her if she had any questions, concerns or felt lonely to call us. We would be there for her. Felt good to help someone in need. It renews my faith in humanity.
  8. Thank ye me mate fer that there eloquent post!!!! One minute everything is great and one minute stuff stalls out. I think you are right in that they are still testing. I will say anything is an improvement. Still very painful if I move my arm around. As long as I'm in the sling it's not too bad. Thanks for your concern.
  9. Sail Away Video. Here is our sail away video shot on the new Go Pro 11 Hero. Shot in 4K and edited through the GoPro app. I’ll try to post the original longer video if I can get it uploaded. Keeps stalling out. Come on Star Link.
  10. 7am and I’m wide awake. I slept pretty good considering if I move too much my shoulder really hurts. A couple of weird things to share. When I fainted or blacked out (can’t remember) obviously I hit the floor pretty hard resulting in a trip to the ER and a broken collarbone. Weird thing is one of toes is black and blue. Sorry for the gross pic. and I have a small cut on the side of my head. This explains why the ER doc wanted to do a Cat Scan of my head to make sure there was no bleeding on the brain. I know kinda scary. I feel very fortunate it could have been way worse. I have no idea why my toe is this way or what I might have cut my head on. Linda made the right call after I came to and did not know where I was and what we were doing to go to the ER. Thank God I gave good insurance. Can you imagine the cost if this happened on the ship? Current position at 18.5 knots. Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful sea day.
  11. One last speed test before bed. I’m a happy camper. Good Night all thanks for following along on our adventures. Tomorrow Sea Day for Sea Dog and nothing is planned. Taking it easy.
  12. Linda and talked about this and yes you are right. I need to take it easy on all accounts and let my body heal. It doesn’t hurt in the sling sitting down. But boy when I try and take my shirt off, not fun. I was planning on hitting the gym everyday on this cruise, not now. Thank you for your advice and concern.
  13. Start Night! Good first day the only bad thing is my shoulder really hurts but I will persevere.
  14. Bourbon selection on Liberty is horrible. No Makers Mark. Looks like most of the bars just have Buffalo Trace and JT’s Brown. Looks like I may be a rum and tequila drinker all week. Goombay Smash.
  15. It’s funny one minute I can’t get cruise critic to load and my pic uploads fail then the above post uploads no problem. Another Starlink speed test. Impressive.
  16. Dinner in the MDR Nothing better than starting out Night one Dinner in the MDR with a window seat and a Old Fashioned. Waiter Eka from Indonesia and Dwayne from Jamaica (15 years with Royal) were great at our window table side. Starters were my standard Escargot ( garlic butter great for bread dipping) and a shrimp cocktail (sorry no pic) and entree Prime Rib (sorry no wide I started eating) with a side of Spaghetti Bolognese. Everything tasted great and was hot. Desert warm hazelnut cake and an espresso to wake me up. Dinner was more than an hour and a half but I don’t mind. I like leisurely dinners. First night in the MDR and I am very pleased. I’m happy that we made reservations every night for this same table and wait staff.
  17. Yes apparently it is up and running. Here is a speed test. Don’t get me wrong I love my wife more than anything but it is nice to be able and hog the bed!
