    QUICKIE UPDATE.

Last night I hit a third jackpot for $1,650.

My camera did not catch the picture.

    My spouse as my witness.

    Phone not broke.

    Alcohol effect

    Later

I would be curious to know and I understand if you don’t want to answer but would like to know how long did you play before hitting that jackpot and how much money did you put in before it paid out and what denomination were you playing with?

2 security guards escorted thru the badge area a family of adults and children with their luggage.
    The did not look happy.
The family was very quiet and one of the children was very upset to the point of crying.

Was she a teenager from the hallway escapades? Would be interesting if it was. I still would love to know what happened to cause them to be escorted off.

Echoing Lenny's post.  For those celebrating, have a meaningful Passover.  Tonight starts Passover; mainly no bread, pasta, pastries of any kind that contain flour.

This is a very emotional holiday for me personally.  Tomorrow marks the anniversary of my mom's passing.  Each year at this time, I use her huge Passover pot to make chicken soup.  As the soup simmers, I tear up thinking of wonderful memories.

Tonight our family (11 of us) gather for our special "seder" holiday meal.  We go around the table and each of us tells mostly funny stories about mom.

Hoping your memories are as happy as mine!

Wishing you a happy Passover and many fond memories of your mom.

Today, the excitement ramped up even further.  We dressed in four layers then headed to our Whale watch tour out of Nanaimo, where we were provided with a head to toe expedition suit and goggles.  Boarded our zodiac with 7 others + naturalist + crew/photographer and Captain.  Then spent the most wonderful 4 hours on the water.  After seeing stellar sea lions, harbour seals, humpback whale, we continued on all the way up near to Squamish in the water.  In this absolutely beautiful water, surrounded by snow capped mountains and we saw ORCAS!!!  We spent about an hour just drifting as this family of four orcas (mum & 3 sons - one only 1 year old) swam nearby.  Our Zodiac was the only one there.  We had this magic to ourselves.  I was almost in tears.A315B0FD-A8C0-402F-954A-8E639019565D.thumb.jpeg.3dc254328948b010368606289b93839b.jpeg

Took a solid 1hr high speed ride back to Nanaimo but it was so worth it and in all the gear, ours & theirs, we were toasty warm despite the cold temps on the open zodiac.

Those are fantastic pictures. Thank you for sharing.

When my wife’s mother passed she inherited 3 sets of China that she paid to ship from Buffalo to Dallas where it will never be used.

When my parents died and I had to have an estate sale, they asked me if I wanted to keep my parents china. I said no as I would probably never use it. It got sold but only for a fraction my parents paid for it. Seems now a days people are not impressed with china.

Fresh crack celebration for Saturday night.  House walls are all textured and they started priming today!  Should be painting by the end of next week.  The end is near, tentative move in date of June 1st (which I’m sure will slide a bit with inspections, etc.)…pics of painted walls to come next week 😊

Now that's a great way to celebrate. Love Barrell, How was it as all their expressions are different? Cheers to you soon getting back onto your house.

Charlie is slowly killing me🥴 After therapy today I went to pick him up and, we think, his blood sugar was low.  He fell outside the place but a few wonderful people got to him quickly.  He was light headed but I got him home and we treated the problem.  He seems better but I am really so tired.  Thanks for asking though!

So sorry that happened. Must have been pretty scary. Reminds me of my fainting spell last year. It doesn’t take much to get your body out of wack.

Yesterday, I had the unenviable job of taking Ricky to the vet. Time for another blood test to see how he is progressing.  He is still on steroids and antibiotics.

Yeah, he doesn’t want to leave the carrier at the vet’s office.

Time to rest after getting home from the ordeal.

He does still seem to be improving.

    Great news!
