Making your own syrups is the way to go. I only have made simple syrup and rock candy syrup plus some cinnamon syrup so far. Some day I would like to tackle a Orgeat but I use Liber & Company's Orgeat which is fantastic. I have a lot of the Monin syrups which I like.

Yes it's never ending. I found that getting all the different syrups can add up fast too. You've got a good list. THe SMith & Cross is a must have for Tiki cocktails. It's got this great Jamaican funk to it that makes a cocktail complex. On Bamboo's menu it looks like they use some good ones. I think instead of the Bacardi Superior I would rather they use Bacardi 8. Most of the Bacardi rums aren't very good and most Tiki bartenders only use Bacardi 8. I recommend getting Plantation Rum. I have the 3 Star (light) Plantation 5 Year (aged) Plantation Dark (dark) Plantation OFTD (overproof)

Nice! We are scheduled to cruise on Navigator next October. Excited to try the Bamboo Room. The menu looks good. It will be interesting to see what rums they have. My Tiki rum and spirit bottles is getting out of hand.

Me too. I probably need to get some odd size measuring spoons. I'll try it using 1/2oz for everything except the rye. I like to make Tiki cocktails and the measuring has to be exact in order for it to taste right.

I think you are exactly right. That’s why I’m cruising a lot now because I don’t think I will be able to afford it in a couple of years.

I got an email that said up to 40% off I checked all my stuff like drink package, dining package, internet and coco day beach club and they all were higher than what we paid. So much for a sale.

Yes that would have me beat. When I have lights out on the house. I usually have them do it in October at a reduced rate.

It sure makes me nervous when I try to go to my cruise planner and my upcoming October sailing is not there. I am going to chalk this up to Royal IT and not my reservation gone. Nut it is unnerving. Now it popped up. Geesh!

We always have the drink package so if we go to a bar to get a cocktail we show them our set sail pass which will have a code on it that we have the drink package. I think it's DX. So I imagine if you don't have the package they can see your set sail pass on your phone and see what cabin you are in to charge.

He found that Culver's Peanut Butter Shake tasted good to him and would get one everyday. They always recognized him at the drive through and took really good care of him.

As my buddy who went through it said. "Even as hard as it is to swallow if you can tolerate milkshakes and protein shakes that is better than using the feeding tube."
