Just get off straightaway and head to the ticket office, we’ve never had a problem getting a slot but I believe some have in the past by not getting over there quickly 🤷♂️
I don’t know if you can book direct in advance so perhaps try that. This is certainly a trip where you do not need to waste money on a ship excursion.
Whilst only needing the 100 shares for the benefit I’ve been buying on the lows and pretty much covered my losses in doing so. When I’m even I’ll bail out all bar the 100 I guess 🤔
They’re not currently administering any cruises after the 31st July 2023 as the benefit rates may change according to an email I’ve just received following a request for benefit on an Arcadia cruise later next year.
And you don’t have to worry about any personal allowance total when arriving back in the UK. It amazes me that ships stores sell items as duty/tax free but fail to inform you about personal allowance totals etc. 🤷♂️

My Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) contract note for the relevant purchase is indeed over 3 months old, nearly a year in fact, so I get their due diligence to ensure I am a current shareholder.
I now have to ask HL to send the proof for me.
Just had my request for shareholder benefit for a Feb 23 cruise refused as the evidence of my holding is over 3 months old and yes final payment has been made 🤷♂️
Just a thought do we need to complete a form if landing by sea and not staying on the island post cruise? My research gives me conflicting information 🤷♂️
