That’s interesting, was on board last week and it was a bit cool in PG, most ladies had coverings on and even the maitre D thought it was a bit chilly, perhaps they’ve upped the temp. Wonderful team in there, made the trip.
I mentioned this on the QV wifi thread the other day. Which ship are you on and is it the same dates for the sale? Wondering if it’s going to be on QE next month.
Not wanting to rock the boat but, perhaps you need to consider that you (and I to a lesser extent) are in a very privileged position in having been to those ports many times. Most people that are fortunate enough to be able to embark on a world cruise or for that matter any cruise with Cunard would actually want to go to the “standard” regular ports as it is likely a once in a lifetime trip. Just my two penneth.
Just boarded QV and more good news on the wifi. Introductory offer on Starlink from 18 Sep to 30 Nov essentials plan is back to $15 per day on voyage plan and premium $20 and CWC credits DO work with the deal👍
Assuming it’s the same as Azura then there are no indoor areas to the retreat. Some parts of it are undercover but not much. I’d wait until you get up there to check it out. If it is bad weather then you might get a deal anyway if not many people want to use it. Because it’s at the front of the ship, if the weather is bad it can be quite chilly up there too.
Blimey Major, think maybe you haven’t been out for a while. I live in Southampton and although you can get a cheap beer in student bars or ‘Spoons most nice bars will be more than £6 now. And no sea view!
Having only experienced all categories on the Vistas I think the Club dining is the best experience. Certainly as far as space between tables and service. I would be a complete covert if club had a dedicated outside space.
