I prefer my fast food to be able to be eaten in bites while being held in my hands, most of these concoctions are what I call Frankenfoods, mixing multiple types of meals into an monstrosity meal, far too big for any normal person to enjoy in one meal.
This is definitely frankenfood😂

In mid 2018, we did a B2BB2BB2B, what's that a triple? On Sapphire Princess x 2 - Baltics/Scandinavia then Royal Princess - British Isles. All preceded by a niece's wedding in Lower Slaughter - ye olde Cotswolds, cruises were followed by a month touring UK by car. If you go that far and we did several times, you need to make it worthwhile. Remember that when life returns to normal.
That has always been my travel philosophy🤗. Long haul flying is such a pain for me so if I am going to commit to such a flight I'm exploring as much of the area for as long as I can to make the most of it.

I have been there once. I cant call it a nice place. It took me awhile to figure out where to go. Its a like an industrial zone sorrounded by the highway. I wonder what kind of ships are eligble to dock there. In any case, hope they transform it
It is a bit industrial but it does also have a nice well preserved historical centre and beautiful piazzas. Miramare Castle is a great visit from there and on the south side the coastline down to Lazzaretto makes a very nice drive.

Suppose one has not heard of Fly Cemetery...
Currents and Sultanas wrapped in Pastry and cut into squares once cooked
I think Mock Fish sounds more appetising than Fly Cemetery😂. I have had them once or twice, not a fan of sultanas though the name I was given was the unimaginative Fruit Slice.

Scruples have gone, as has the pub test or any moral/ ethical thought, they just claim it is legal ( even when it wasn't) and carry on with the next thing.
Read an article that NSW Parliament is installing a $63000 frosted door so they can have a beer in private🙄. Don't know if it is true but my expectations of our pollies are so low I can believe they would come up with such a tone deaf idea😒.

I believe butterflies feed on nectar which contains fructose i.e. sugar. Pineapples being very sweet would contain a lot of fructose.
Try this. If you have grevillia growing in your garden (they're in flower now) try hitting your hand with one of the blossoms. You will have a hand wet with nectar. Then lick the nectar from your hand. Yummy sweet. Show kids how to do it, they love it - practical biology 101.
When I was a kid we use to do that with bottlebrush😁. I guess my tastesbuds are different I find pineapple to be quite acidic than sweet but then again seeing as it is Singapore maybe they just have sweeter less acidic pineapples anyway.

Have a great trip, Lyle. I hope you get through the fire zone without getting smoked.
They are doing hazard reduction burns locally so there is a lot of smoke around our place at the moment. Yuck!
Got hit by the smoke last night. Only now starting to clear Got the itchy eyes and irritated nose. They say smoke makes you more vulnerable to Covid-19, let's hope we don't get death and infection😔.

Like I always say ... you've gotta be tough to live in Melbourne.
LOL I remember many years ago we had family from England visiting in January. A couple of days after their arrival we had a barbie for them in the backyard with extended family. Well, they were loving the heat (it was about 35 deg C and a dry heat) and were wearing their bathers and jumping in and out of the pool and lying out in the sun and getting burnt to a crisp. All the Aussie family members were sitting in the shade LOL.
When I was in Marseilles France somone told me they can always tell who the tourists are on the street because they walk on the sunny side while the locals always follow the shade 😂. We must have really blended in that day because we were following the shade since our visit coincided with a heatwave so it was sweltering🥵.

I am basically sick to death of armchair experts blaming our various leaders who are trying to fix something, without a book of instructions on something that has not occurred in recent history, and are continually being sabotaged by the people who will not do as requested.
The ignorance excuse is outdated. We have been battling COVID over a year now. We do have good evidence on what strategies are effective and not effective. As far as I am aware countries who tried the pause as you call it have all been unsuccessful when compared to countries that went into instant lockdown. Yes you may have protesters but even with those protests the rate of infection was drastically slower than countries that tried lockdown lite first. Even Taiwan tried it this year and look how quickly their numbers exploded till they locked everything down again. So while it may be not perfect I think it is wrong to say we have no evidence of any strategy to slow down infection rates to COVID. That would be suggesting that for the last year and half everyone has been doing absolutely nothing and even the most incompetent governments have tried something and failure is still evidence of what not to do as much as success is evidence of what to try🤗.
