  1. Thanks for that tip. We planned the Radiance Vancouver to Vancouver for our 30th anniversary in 2026, so can't even book the cruise till next March, But I will definitely be looking for the Black Friday deals
  2. Wow, if that's the case go for it, it'll be well worth it. We did it at Dawes, but it doesn't beat Hubbard.
  3. . they've never been offered on our Hubbard cruises, although I'd much rather see Hubbard than Dawes. Dawes is so small and the calving action at hubbard is epic: Guess I was wrong if it is offered on Radiance, I'd do it again.
  4. One of our faves as well, when we first went there (2008) we were 2 of about 10 people, then years following vendors started coming in and the Celine actually anchored there, beautiful beach and you can just see the planes coming in too.
  5. Once we rented a car in St. Thomas, but as you said, the traffic was scary, millions seemingly trying to get back to their ships and driving on the wrong side! Hairy! Hubs said, next time we take a tour or cab, I'm never driving here again!
  6. They served a lunch to die for, salads and fresh catch of the day plus luncheon meats/cheeses crudite etc. And served BBBs on the way back to dock, everyone toasting going under the bay draw bridge. Such fun.
  7. Don't know about Wonder but on Odyssey at Giovanni's Kitchen my Pasta Carbonara was perfect and tasty, not too salty. No heaps on top either. Hope ya'll try it on her if ever....mmmmmmmmmmmmm
  8. We've done Celine, those two are great people and we had a blast, worth every penny. We were active on our roll call at the time and met and shared this excursion with 2 couples from England.
  9. The only thing disappointing about that is that if the agent on the phone cannot see your cabin #, he/she will refuse to change your location. Since ours was assigned way late, when it finally showed up on our rez, it was too late to get a better location and it was a problem with the wheel chair the whole cruise. The cabin was right in the middle between elevator bays. Would have been nice to get closer to one. So there is something to normal booking...location location location. Both times on the Royal Up and a GTY I have regretted the location, although thankful to get into an OV instead of an interior.
  10. Since we finally booked the star at $29.99 pp we thought it well worth that as well, wouldn't have paid that to be docked at a port and just up and down, but cruising and being able to look at both sides of the ship was thrilling. But once and done though. Unless we do one to Alaska.
  11. It's such a shame your weather has been so disagreeable, but I know you're a seasoned cruiser and you've probably been there done that. But geez I wish you had had sunshine all this time! But at least it has forced you to sample more of Miss Wonder's offerings. We have not had the privilege of riding with her yet (had to cancel one a year ago) but hope to be on her soon. Enjoying riding along with you. Thanks for the memories.
  12. Ewwww you must do Central Park in the evening, there is an exceptional guitarist, fabulous and there are the deck 9 corners in Central Park with the table and chairs a real NOOK,
  13. Alaska schedules are usually released in March for the following season, So 2025 will not be available until next March. This November/December only 2024 is available.
  14. I just did a Viking booking for 2, 8 days Adriatic cruise, with nothing added is already at $10700...even with drinks and tips that's too rich for us...nickels and dimes or not. I'll keep my RCCL cruises thank you. I could add on anything Viking offers free and still keep it under $3k.
  15. yes, firstly, a shorty dress, can't abide doing a public restroom in dangling pant legs...ish! It's sleeveless but I usually take a drape of some sort in case I get cold. I always wear this on a travel day, even car travel. The thought of anything I'm wearing dragging on the floors is abhorrent! Following!
  16. Ethics is agreeing to the terms of your contract which they did and you should. Please...........OK done with this.....
  17. Wait a minute, you already knew and acknowledged in your first post that posters here would react this way, it was no surprise, methinks you were already holding a pot spoon in your hand. You wanted commiseration and got none because for most of us, we've already dealt with circumstances like these and made lots of yummy lemonade. And I would bet money you were notified at some point, but since you could not change plans the way you intended you were incensed. That is not bad service, it's just the breaks...a life is like that; any life has some rain that falls. Even our shabby ones. You won't find any differences on another line under the same circumstances...so I guess you're stuck. Really sorry you are so unhappy about it though...even your life is too short to spend bellyaching about things you cannot change, right? I hope somehow, you do the cruise and have a blast. I love sailing into and out of Nassau just for the sights and the water there, we never get off anymore. We usually spend our time in the Solarium...lots to see right at pier. But, I love me some sea days gazing at Big Blue!
