  1. We had a lovely cruise on her last September and she's still our favorite sister. Didn't notice anything about the carpet...
  2. We're not "leaving" just branching out. First Carni cruise in 15 yrs coming up on Jubilee which is Excell class like Mardi Gras. Frankly, I'm excited about it. And our ADA inside cabin was exactly $2017 all in excluding grats which will be done per day.
  3. Nope I tried several times: the only dot that worked was the late seating one. I couldn't even get the one under Waiting List Times to process on my PC. I may just call them tomorrow and see if an agent can do it!
  4. Since we just booked it was waiting list only and I had to pick late seating UGH! So I'll have to see onboard if we can fit in to MTD.
  5. That's what I thought, we're planning on doing the Italian venue and some others that are free now...really excited for this cruise, only our second Carnival in 15 years!
  6. Question for the OP. I understand certain food venues will be free of charge during inaugural season. We cruise Jubilee March 30th. When do they consider inaugural season over? Thx
  7. Just did when I read your first post...still $62.99, but I think it'll be worth it. We paid $58.99 2 years ago for the Beach Club day pass and I felt it was well spent.
  8. Your pic of the hammock is exactly my strategy for where we want to be, almost to the Jazz bar
  9. Thank goodness that won't be a problem in September...we'll be roasting even in the pool or ocean. Last March I couldn't even stick my toe in the Lagoon pool, we spent a whole hour and walked back to ship.
  10. Ours has never budged from the lower price of $62.99 for September Icon and I check it every day
  11. I fill travel bottles with shampoo/conditioner but use the body wash aboard...not that picky I guess, but don't want large bottes with me.
  12. Years ago we spread our RCCL wings on a Carni Ecstacy cruise which was glaringly horrid, filthy ship, terrible service and swore off them for good. That's never happened on Royal. But we just booked a Voyager B2B with Carnival Jubilee in a couple weeks and I'm honestly excited about giving them another try. This newest ship is eerily similar to Icon. Luckily I'm not a very picky cruiser, just happy to be at sea again.
  13. Glad this is just YOUR opinion, Haven't had a bad cruise yet, but I guess that depends on your outlook on life.
  14. I watched JJ Cruise' review this morning...and it is excellent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhmds4WUPGw
  15. We loved our Giovanni's lunch on Odyssey, it was so nice to just go right and sit and eat after boarding, no lines and great food. We'll do it again, in fact have booked lunch in Izumi Hibachi table on Icon.
  16. Good enough for most meds. BTW I put the whole ice bucket in our "cooler", that works pretty good to keep the ice from melting. I get ice every day from our steward.
  17. I just got a reply with the slate of entertainers for my Voyager next month using the second addie I gave you. SO it works! web_reservations@ rccl.com
  18. OMG I flipped out...my whole family would want to go. Thanks, fabulous..live long and prosper!
  19. You used to be able to email RCCL directly to: cleyva@rccl.com or web_reservations@rccl.com and ask just who the entertainers are, haven't done this in many years so don't know if it will work.
  20. No they don't have to sail at all, original owner can be a no show.
  21. Icon is showing the Empire Club sold out four our Sept. sailing and it just appeared on our App, how could it be sold out that far in advance so soon...I know the seating is limited but I'm very disappointed. I may call about it since I came on this thread.
  22. The balances will not be the same between those choices. I believe it would be better to do the first option. You can always change the names but your amounts will be correct. We have a similar situation coming up on Icon. Our second daughter just got pregnant and will not be able to go, so were scrounging for another couple so we can keep the same rez and payment amounts which are much lower than current pricing. We'll find someone who wants them and then change the names.
  23. I beg to disagree, but the restaurant mgr gave us one to entice us in the first night of cruise, it's been a while, but it was on Liberty.
  24. That's where I met my pink Octopus (upper area clutching a shell) and I was hoping I could get to the inlets in Hideaway, but guess not. I want to be in between area 48 and 45 on your map and thx for the map too.
