  1. Yep sure did back in October along with the newer Pneumonia plus regular flu. I know these vaccines are iffy, but better have them than not. I had all the Covid shots and never had it though my hubs and brother etc all had covid.
  2. The original for our ICON was $89 but I got it on sale for 62.99 pp. The newer and bigger the ship the more all things cost. But I'm happy to pay that, can't wait.
  3. Well at 74 your story did make me reconsider travel insurance and also that maybe our cruising days are almost over. I got the RSV on Allure last September on our 5th day. Made it home with no ship clinic visit (I thought it was allergies) and then spent 4 months getting over it and the side effects. That one is a doozie! Pray your Mom overcomes Pneumonia or whatever she has, it can happen, it did to my MIL, she is still with us after her hospice in 2021.
  4. The only thing I worry about is the noise from the DJ. So our plan is to get loungers at the other end towards the Jazz Rock place or whatever it's called. Hoping we can hear some of that rather than blaring heavy metal or rap music. And there are some hammocks over there....hope you had a chance to see the whole area. Also interested in whether one could snorkel over by where the openings in the coral are to let in the sea...always good critters in coral! But I think I saw buoys with netting to prevent that.
  5. Of course they changed it all again when they made Tavern, very plain now. Chahuly.MP4
  6. They filled them up with plastic plants first and then took the whole glass aquarium out of Voyager and replaced them with the Chahuly like glass flowers way back.
  7. You know a while ago, in the bar area in WJ on Voyager, there was a running water wall feature, water ran down the back wall which was mirrored, really pretty, and then I have pics of Voyagers salt water tanks in the Boleros area as well...they used to do water features pretty much back in the day. Even Rhapsody had a fountain under the steps in the lobby. Guess they got to be too mucky to maintain but they were sure gorgeous!
  8. On Voyager, we head for Bolero's to see if we can get our first Mojito...tradition. Sometimes we can and other times they won't have the mint for one. My second fave drink is a lemon drop with Orange peel. I pretty much stick with those two, I love martinis! Lickin my chops right now...,we'll be there in 35 days Boleros Mojito.MP4
  9. I was not responding to the OPs question, I was responding to your comment: WJ is for food not drinks
  10. Voyager has or used to have a bar right in it's entrance. You could sit and have drinks anytime.
  11. You can also order a colder medical frig for your room. Contact Special Services at RCCL to request one.
  12. I thought it was brilliant, still don't know why they took it out. Maybe sanitation laws changed or something.
  13. I actually did, my hubs cleared the way and took me in to see it...
  14. I always am......LOL I know irun5k didn't say that, Soremekun did.
  15. Here's a brighter pic, wonder why they removed it?
  16. After years of MTD which was never a problem, as we age, we find ourselves back to early dining, time to digest the meal and see shows and the sunset. And we go to bed much earlier because we're exhausted. Ce La Vie.
  17. Sometimes but the "remember this password" NEVER works.
  18. MDR has it when they come around with the pastry tray it's always there. We eat there for the Eggs Bene mostly. It never had nuts, just the raisins and the sugar nuggat on top. Just sweet enough...yum
  19. I have been addicted to this for First breakfast with latte on the Promenade since our first cruise on Voyager, I have it several times a week on any cruise...I sure hope they never discontinue it. Like it so much I ordered the Swedish sugar off Amazon so I can put it on my own breads! Second breakfast is in MDR....LOL Also, addicted to the sour dough rolls which are harder to come by these days and always request they be heated, they are happy to do that for us.
  20. Yes, I would think they wouldn't want people interrupting the show after the theater lights go down.
  21. If you have a much later flight, say 3 or 4 O'clock, it would be much better than sitting around an airport...itsh! We've always booked an early flight home and I wouldn't pay for it, but some would.
  22. I think she meant to say Bumper Car/Sports rink,.
  23. I'm in a wheelchair so I don't believe that. There has to be accomodation made for ADA, that's the law. Maybe they meant you couldn't ENTER into Zero that way, but exiting should be open. Now I know there is an ADA elevator, I'm not concerned about it.
