  1. I was booked on a 15 night land tour of Rajhastan last January with Saga. The holiday disappeared from their website last summer. Numerous phone calls were made but they could neither confirm nor deny that the holiday would take place. We gave up trying after 20+ calls over 3 months. Eventually my deposit was returned without any sort of confirmation that the holiday was cancelled. During the pandemic they were amongst the worst of companies to try to obtain a refund from and they have now decided to ditch all TAs and only accept direct bookings. Well good luck with that. The last few companies that took that approach hastily reversed the decision shortly before filing for bankruptcy.
  2. We had a similar disappointment in Wrangell when we had paid over £700 for 2 for the Annan creek excursion only to find out later that it was at least a week before any bears would be there. Shorex looked at us with contempt. They kept our £758 but lost our future cruises.
  3. Being an Alaska cruise it was a younger and more adventurous crowd than you’d find bobbing around the med JP. There where nightly 20+ rabble rousers that were a great crowd but the DJ just cba and exited at the first sh*t tune he threw on that nobody danced to Despite 20+people waiting for a boogie. I’m usually the first and the last on the dance floor but not that week! I still have fond memories of seeing an approaching Athens at 6am whilst still on the dance floor with my new friends from the Alabama Christian Institute and the Universite de Sevilla.
  4. What a wonderful and balanced review. We too found the Panorama DJ lacking on our last Muse Cruise (Alaska June 19) and he seemed to get quite annoyed by anybody that had any requests or didn’t want to not be in their bed by 11. Things do seem to be looking up though.
  5. Thank you so much for your musings M. I’ve loved following along, even though I haven’t chimed in much. It was such a privilege to meet you both in Liverpool. I Too am finding this new world a little difficult to adjust to. It seems that some of the slightly less than pleasant members from “the other place” have found their way onboard. Much love to you both xxx
  6. Does anyone else feel that the SS group in “ the other place” has gone to ratchet? As much as I Love SS, I don’t think I’d ever wish to share a ship with these people. From recent reports too, many of them are finding their way onboard. What on earth is going on?
  7. Dear Sir, At the point of sale, the merchandise provided was perfectly appropriate for the advertised purpose. Unfortunately since, subsequent defects have become apparent for which the vendor accepts no responsibility. We may, reluctantly, accept a partial return of a certain proportion of the goods once they have fulfilled their useful purpose and been returned to us, however the remaining defective goods will not be accepted back under any circumstances. We unfortunately cannot offer any timescale for the acceptance of the said defective goods but we are sure that acceptance of said goods will be achieved with time. Kind regards The Management
  8. Absolutely under no circumstances whatsoever. The sale was full and final. Goods were sold as seen and no returns will be accepted. Yours sincerely The Management
  9. The ones that find us are the best Lola. I Found Kitty scavenging in our bins 12 years ago as a pregnant kitten. She decided she was moving in and 3 weeks later on my 40th birthday produced the best 3 birthday presents that I’ve ever had.
  10. Beautiful beasties TTS. I’m up to 6 cats and 3 dogs now, all in a Cottage. Here are a couple of my favourite photies. Anybody that doesn’t love animals should just be electrocuted. IMG_0400.MOV
