On my April Millennium cruise I tried this and when I cashed out the voucher was only for the amount of the slot winnings. The balance went back to my OBC.

All crew and departments will be on their best behaviour, all  beverages will be in stock, and the buffet will have a full complement of stations. Can't have the boss see any slip-ups.

All good. DW had a bad bout of bronchitis. Because you can't buy cough meds at the shops anymore it required a trip to medical to get some.

Then you are in luck. That is the standard for cabins on M class ships, they do not alternate.

FYI, the OBC is also available for use should you need to visit medical for any reason. Not the most desirable or exciting use for it, but....

Can anyone tell me if the Eclipse was revolutionized? Last I heard "somewhere" she was to have been in late 2021? I thought that would be featured prominently at celebrity.com, but it's not, so I'm assuming she has not gotten the treatment yet.

The short answer is that cabins that show a sofabed or upper berth all have the bed by bath. The black square or triangle on the deck plan is your indicator.

The price for 2 people is only $2,000 more than the price for sailing alone, so I'm not sure if it's worth booking as a single. If for some reason my daughter's plans change and she can sail with me, I don't want to be stuck not being able to add a second person a year from now due to life boat capacity or because of price increases. 
 

Even though $2,000 is a significant amount of money, it's likely a smaller price to pay for the option to add a second person at the last minute vs what I'd be charged to do it a year from now. However, it would also be nice to get the double points for sailing by myself (36) if that's a thing on Celebrity like it is on Royal Caribbean. 
 

So my question is, do single travelers get double points if their room is booked as a solo? And if I book for 2 people right now, do they re-price the cruise if I remove the second traveler and change to a solo before final payment in the same way that they would re-price if I added a person? 

Yes, solo is double points except in the few E-class single cabins. Again, yes, that is how it would be repriced.

In Cozumel and St Maarten passengers go to a multitude of places, not just the beaches.

I submitted a bid for Move Up from a Prime Aqua stateroom to an Aqua Sky Suite on the 9/9 sailing of Infinity.  Since Aqua already has included classic drinks, regular WiFi, and prepaid gratuities, will I also be "moved up" to premium drinks, premium WiFi and prepaid gratutites at the suite level, or will I have to pay extra for those?

 

Also, as I understand it, the Sky Suite includes all access to the Retreat facilities.  Am I correct?

You will only retain your current benefits - wifi, classic drinks, and any OBC you have. You will be charged for the difference in gratuities.

If booking a suite the $100 pp deposit does not apply, otherwise your deposit is $100 for the cruise you book.

Possibly, but no guarantees. You would have to check once on board. The other option is to just book select dining and make your reservations as needed for your departure times.

If like the Millennium, then reservations for anytime dining are for deck 4 only. Deck 5 is for fixed seatings only.

If they don't do it for whatever reason, I'd get the money back as an OBC, right - and probably a letter in my cabin about it?

Your phone connected to the ship wifi will not change the time. That is done with your carrier signal.

Yes there are waits sometimes, but it's when it's a popular time like when the show gets out, or the before dinner drink, which is exacerbated by no longer having the CC happy hours in the Sky Lounge.

This is absolutely correct. The staff are definitely doing their utmost.

Is it all a bed of roses? By all means no, but certainly not as bad as the negative reviews make it seem. Go in knowing that there will be a few lacklustre experiences, and all will be good.

Nice thought, but when would you propose the show for the late diners start? The current set-up was so that early diners go to the shows after dinner, and late diners would see the shows before their dining time and still have time to leisurely wander over to the dining room.

Could be that, but my money says that marketing is involved and that means selling as many people as possible the "first passenger christening the room" opprtunity at "enhanced" rates.

You really must want to see the F1 to spend that kind of money. For just a little more you could spend a week in the Retreat.
