  1. No definitely not. That's not how it works. There's no 'max drink price' on Celebrity's Elite HH, unlike on Royal. It's whatever drinks are on the list OR whatever listed Spirits and standard mixers. For instance ther's no frozen drinks of any kind on the Elite happy hour. You order one during Elite HH and you'll pay whatever the full price of the drink is, assuming you don't have a drink package.
  2. You must have not paid for expedited? I submitted my renewal very end of February and received it middle of April, so 6 weeks total.
  3. For post cruise suggestions in London if you're interested in seeing a West End show you should download the phone app called TodayTix. What's cool about this app is the ability to get onto a virtual queue for Rush tickets. Checkout the app for the show you are interested in and if they offer Rush tickets. If so you can request to sign up be notified to join the virtual queue for Rush tickets. It's basically like a lottery system and if you 'win' a place to buy Rush tickets you can get orchestra seats to top shows for 15,20,25,or 30 pounds each! When we did this last June we saw Dear Evan Hanson and The Book of Morman for 25 pounds!
  4. I know you're doing a tour in Lisbon but for those that are also on this cruise and are just planning to walk the city may I suggest you don't miss the Time Out Market( don't forget to have the egg custard tarts Pasteis de Nata!!!) and a visit to one of the tinned fish stores.
  5. My only suggestion is not to be afraid to order from The Menu del Dia in whatever country your in. They are a tremendous value and ARE NOT just for tourists nor are they tourist rip-offs. In fact it's just the opposite, it's what the locals order from. Here is a little restaurant in Vigo we went to. Three courses for 15 Euros and the food was amazing.
  6. Europe has had those machines since the 1980's. It's RIDICULOUS that we don't use them in the US.
  7. A visit to Bilbao is incomplete with out visiting the Guggenheim Bilbao.
  8. The nice thing about the admission charge is that it can get applied to a purchase in the bookstore. It's really remarkable inside!
  9. This bookstore in Porto was a beautiful place for a look-see. If you do decide to go buy tickets online before heading there. There's a separate and faster queue to enter if you have purchased tickets online. https://g.co/kgs/n42gzz

  11. That would be amazing. It was one of my major criticisms of our Pride balcony Cabin; the balcony floor itself was disgustingly dirty and it was filth, grime, rust and other detritus that couldn't be just power washed away. It would have required major stripping down to bare metal. The photo seems to show them actually replacing the balcony decking.
  12. It also seems to show they're replacing the Balconies??? In any case it seems there's more being done than at first glance, which is plus in anyone's book.
  13. Many years ago we went to see bullfighting in Seville, Spain. It's organized somewhat like a rodeo/bull riding where you have junior toreadors to start and the 'headliners' later. We stayed almost 3 hours and It was a fascinating experience, full of culture and traditions. Bloody and brutal, that too, but I'm glad to have attended.
  14. And here's how you can duplicate the Cafe Al Bacio Forte Tea experience at home:
  15. Correct. It's in those plastic net-like bags and shaped like a pyramid. The 'string' is more like a wire with the tag in the shape of a little green leaf. Al Bacio have custom teapots where the lid has a hole in it so you can thread the teabag wire through the lid hole and bend the leaf tag so it holds the teabag. Love this setup!
  16. Question for you. What's your luggage situation? How has it been getting around from city to city, train to hotel, with your baggage? I assume you're going to be needing a laundromat at some point?
  17. I'm glad Celebrity added Twinnings, Lipton and Bigelow. For the longest time the only tea brand was Fields and Select and as a whole their teabags are some of the weakest tea leaves I have ever tasted. Adding extra bags made no difference either.
  18. I'm curious why you need to bring your own spoons. Mugs I understand but what's the issue with using the ships spoons from the buffet?
  19. Up to very recently with Carnival's new Excel Class that's how ALL of Carnival's standard cabin bathrooms looked. The only difference was the pink/mauve plastic sink/counter was changed to blue. So even Carnival's Panorama ship who's maiden voyage was 2019 !!!! the standard bathrooms basically look like the onlys on the Legend, albeit blue plastic instead of mauve. That was my BIGGEST complaint about Carnival's cabins. They literally spend ZERO $ for DECADES without updating their cabin bathrooms even when the cabin themselves had a more contemporary design to them.
  20. Or you can just get a salad from the Oceanview Cafe
