Yes, and Moules Frites another very famous dish -
Seems like the exterior & balconies are getting worked on, which is great.

It's called pomme frites, or just frites. Literally fried potatoes. I get what you're asking about breakfast, but no, there's no such thing as French Toast as Americans know it. https://www.frenchlearner.com/culture/french-toast-in-france/ -

The photo posted of the dinner menu implies that it's veal cutlet with mushroom cream sauce, fries, and a salad. -

Veal in a mushroom cream sauce? -
So as a point of clarification we are BOTH CORRECT. The blue vanities are for standard cabins as I had stated;however, as you CORRECTLY recalled the Havana cabins DO have a WHITE color sink/vanity area. As we see in this video room tour the Havana Rooms are more upscale in terms of decor and amenities. Thank for chiming in so we can properly inform everyone.

Question about Horizon Havana rooms

No, just a video I found. I took was curious what the cabin the OP finally booked, although I've been on two MSC cruises and loved them both! -
Question about Horizon Havana rooms

For followers of this thread here's a video tour of the cabin type the OP has booked: -
These HAVE ALWAYS been the standard bathrooms in all Carnival ships pre-Excel Class. The older ships had that pink/mauve plastic vanity and sink combo. You may be thinking of the suite bathrooms which were different. Your post AGAIN validates my original point that Carnival cabins are literally the Walmart of cruise ship cabins. Everyone WANTS to think that the cabins are nicer than they actually My comparison of the Celebrity vs Carnival ship bathrooms that debuted the SAME year really goes to show you how low Carnival's standards are to the point where people are thinking a brand new ship is 20 years old. Below is ANOTHER photo from Cruise Critic of a standard bathroom on the Horizon. Edit: I also attached a Youtube video cabin tour of a balcony cabin on the Horizon. https://www.cruisecritic.com/photos/ships/carnival-horizon-1185/member-3/170131/

Your cabin was definitely faulty. That never, ever happened to me staying in an IV cabin 2x on the Edge and 1x on the Beyond.

No worries. I think we're all trying to give the OP advice. While I somewhat agree with some of the sentiments that ultimately all cruises are the same let's not discount the OP's question and others of the same ilk on CC. As I alluded to if we are going to make those generalizations we can apply that to everything in life; all cars are the same, all airlines are the same, all hotels are the same, etc. Of course we know that's not true. What we also know is everything has positives and negatives and there's nothing wrong with pointing them out.

There's a co-ed sauna that's located behind the Cloud 9 Spa locker rooms. Although it may not seem like it the Spa locker rooms are available to everyone, even if you don't have a thermal suite pass. The locker rooms are located in the lower level of the spa. You enter the spa and turn left past the reception desk and down the stairs then walk down the hallway and the locker rooms will be on the left. There are lockers, single stall showers, toilets, sinks. At the rear of each locker room is another door where you access the coed sauna, which again is free for all passengers, and the Thermal suite if you paid for it( or you have a spa cabin). Here's a photo of the co-ed sauna on the MardiGras. It's the same on the Celebration except they correctly frosted the glass sauna door since it faces directly opposite the rear door of the women's locker room!

The Millennium Class is over 20 years old and I've never heard of anyone posting here on CC about needing to cover up the mirror.
-
Yes, based on the OPs description that seems to be the case. I've been in IV cabins multiple times and there's never been an issue with humidity.

Have you considered 2 cabins? The price differential is way less than you think. Reason being the starting price of a cabin for 2 is less than the starting price of a cabin that holds 4,so in many cases 2 cabins can be the same or only a couple hundred more than 1cabin for 4.
