If you search around you'll find many folks saying that Euros or $$$ work just fine - not like they will be refused. Many others like to tip in local currency for the convenience of those on the receiving end. What to do with leftover currency may factor in.

Isn't Europe in general a no tipping zone? I suppose the Viking guides are used to it however.

I'd wear them to dinner. Snobs will call them a dress shoe but they are actually casual - the original intention of the broguing being to release water accumulated while stomping around the bogs.

Indeed. Lots of folks rave about the rib eye which, IMO is waaaay too thin to cook properly. There are people on this planet who do not know what a great steak is.

I don't remember which menu we had on Orion a couple years ago but I remember it being decidedly so-so. We cancelled remaining reservations in favor of Manfreddi.
