  1. I do this too. My DW thinks I plan too much. I think I plan too little.
  2. You can also do multiple cruises at a time (fill separate form for each cruise). Super easy
  3. NCL Air had us on United to Europe with one bag per. Royal Air Maroc on the return was the same. Weight allowance is 50 lbs per and includes the usual one bag in the cabin per as well. we upgraded the United flight to Polaris class. That comes with 2 bags per and 70 lbs a bag.
  4. We did a Western Caribbean over Christmas in 2019. It was really nice to tune out of Christmas for a month before hand. NCL will decorate the ship everywhere so it feels different. There are a lot of families with children and grandparents traveling together. It is extremely popular and the ship will be full. Watching the kids lining up to meet Santa was in the atrium was fun. Dinner on the eves and holiday evening will book out early (so book early). Even the MDR will require reservations, so don’t be the one on Santa’s naughty list watching me eat my pudding. Menu will holiday driven. Port day on the holiday will be spotty. Tourism isn’t the primary thing happening on the holiday, so plan excursions not to be a bucket list activity in case it gets cancelled. These can be really fun trips with family. It will not be a quiet cruise if that is what you are looking for. You will be hitting the airports with your neighbors going to other places for the holidays, so plan flights, pre-hotels and reduce stress. There will be few “deals”, book early if you want to go. This Christmas we are going on our second Christmas cruise out of Miami.
  5. Rebellious Fish or Jack Daniels Gold from the whiskey bar
  6. DC Beltway driving rules apply. You didn’t mention if you passed on the left or right. Slow movers for roast beef, and you passed on the right , you are good as long as the cops aren’t in the breakdown lane with lights on (this is where u slow down and pass safely, moving away from the cops,,, safety people). People gotta eat and it has been revealed that jumping into an off ramp quick improves traffic flow. Getting the missus food? This goes to the old adage “stick and stones break my bones,,,, and divorce is forever”. So we all cool if you cutting me off. Keep the lady happy, maybe we need a hand sign so we know what the situation is?
  7. Street corn is a must! I would be surprised if your server didn't recommend you add it if you hadn’t ordered it.
  8. To answer the other question, we are flying out of DC and have United to Barcelona. Return is Royal Air Maroc (had an IATA I hadn’t seen in a long time (Obi wan reference)) and that one flies through Casablanca.
  9. We received the official flight info on Friday June 3rd for a July 3 cruise departure. This is an odd booking as it’s b2b and we have 2 nights before. Others we are traveling with received their info a few days before we did.
  10. Thanks for the information. I had the same question. And thanks for the op for asking
  11. I had multiple notifications for an Air Canada flight for upcoming cruise out of Barcelona. Was not very excited of going from Washington Dulles to Toronto, then 7 hour layover and then jumping across the pond. We pulled an inside straight on Friday, was assigned a United flight from Dulles straight into Barcelona. Point being, a lot can change until you get the final ticket. NCL will be very quiet until it is done.
  12. I find that keeping an eye on your cruise for price drops can occur a couple times and becomes a bit of a game for me. Be aware that the perks associated with booking could change on a drop because you are rebooking the cruise for the same cabin and week. Sometimes you can even get more perks if you time it right. Enjoy the lower cost and your upcoming cruise!
