So I’ll be in a penthouse suite (S4) in September. first time in a suite as well as first time on the Carribean princess (all other princess cruises were on Royal class) what are some of the “unspoken” suite perks. I know about laundry, mini-bar, suite lounge, and Sabatini’s breakfasts… thanks!

My voucher states “valid for cruises between 2/20/24 - 9/7/24”…this cruise starts on 9/24/24. So TECHNICALLY it’s expired..the only thing I can think is they extended it out a few weeks because it TOOK them a few weeks to get it on my account..in any case, I’ll email the guy Monday (since I got his email when I verified it) and inquire about the freeplay.

Yeah then they probably didn’t attach it..I wonder though if THAT’S the part that “expired” vs. the room/plus..

Yup! And for folks following the saga; I think my wife is going to go..at least when I told her about it, her reply was “that sounds amazing!”

Yeah I see evegthing but the freeplay. but I did just book it TODAY; so maybe I’ll give it a day or so to see if it shows up…but I really don’t want to “rock the boat” haha

In any case I mean yeah it’s $2500 but it’s just freeplay…so I mean I may not “fight” about it in case they come back and say “ohh you’re offer expired before this cruise so we must correct our error”

So I FINALLY got a “smart” person at the office in Santa Clarita (and thank God I got Santa Clarita and not Manila!) So for the last two weeks (since 20 days after debarkation); I’ve been trying to book my “Come Back Soon” offer of Suite+Plus+$2500 freeplay (yes the “top” ComeBackSoon offer) now, every time I’ve called the people have said “sorry, it’s not in the system yet, call back later” TODAY the guy said “it’s not in the system; but let me send you an email real quick and you just reply with a photo of it, while we’re on the phone, and I’ll load it in the system for you” DONE!! So he came back from putting me on hold and said “it’s all set my man! And daaaang! A SUITE..you mind stowing me away with you!? Haha” But it gets better! The printed offer said “good through 9/7/24”; which pretty much I was set on booking an Alaska cruise (max value; and I haven’t done Glacier Bay yet) BUUT, something I’ve ALWAYS wanted to do; was see the Northern Lights..but I knew that meant either going to Norway or Iceland..either of which are $$$. In comes princess, with a 14-day “Search for the Northern Lights cruise”… BUT two things.. 1. It sails on 9/24/24 2. When I looked up the price for a penthouse suite with Plus package it came up to $18,000!! 😳 (The offer said “approx max value $9000.) But…dude on the phone…click click click...”Ok; so your price today is $688; but you’re going to get $400 back as OBC” SOOOOOOLD! I literally was BESIDE myself so excited! A FREAKIN PENTHOUSE SUITE ON THE CARRIBEAN PRINCESS! I couldn’t believe it until I got the confirmation…zero balance showing! Immediately went and booked my flights from SFO<>LHR…which on BA was only $1800 p/p for Premium! HECK YES BABY! DEFINITELY bucket list!

I’d be curious to know this too Also from what I’ve heard; you can only “load” $2000 worth of “credit” at any one time (ie: your account folio can’t have more than $2000 worth of “money in the bank”)

1 “point” per $2.50 wagered on slots 1 “point” per $5 wagered on video poker/video bj/keno 1 “point” per however much the pitboss thinks you should earn on table games, HAHA

Damn! We were on the same cruise and my offer (ER1) still hasn’t shown up in the system..so they say..did you book through the Manila call center; or did you speak to someone in Santa Clarita?

On the other Royal class ships, the beds are soooooft! But for some reason on the discovery they switched to a FIRM mattress…(having sailed on Royal, Regal, Sky, and Discovery)

Post a picture of the header of the email you’re using. i bet if you dig into it it’s spoofed and you’re actually emailing someone else; but in the mail UI; it LOOKS legit…and that’s why in the cc they have LEGIT email addresses like others said, carnival won’t mess around with a cheque (I see you’re from canada) if you’re asking them to refund airfare that YOU paid, NOT through carnival..there’s no way in blue hell they’d refund that

When y’all say Suites can order from the MDR..I assume that means only during “service” hours… (ie: “breakfast”, “lunch”, “dinner”)? like..I couldn’t order off the normal dinner menu at 1am, right?

It’s not about winning or losing; it’s about saving 8% and using that 8% to get comped cruises.

I wondered if I did..just worried I may be stuck holding on to $15,000 of useless paper.

Saw them on panorama on NYE..look good..but I’m cheap. excel class has a MUCH better selection of pizza than all other ships

Anyone know if there’s a limit per day I can take to guest services? ie: my folio is -$2500 at the end of the first day (bad day in the casino) can I go give them five $500 gift cards to “zero out” my folio? if so..,could I do that each day? Carnival lets you do $2000 a day for sure (using their kiosk)..just curious about princess

Unfortunately (or fortunately) that’s not able to be seen by marketing departments or central credit..so only the minimum $2000 line of credit for me

This is what we did recently..the family harbor suites were crazy priced so I bought a cove balcony and the interior room across the hall. the system won’t let you put five people in a room, so we did four in the balcony and three in the interior but all three of our nephews slept in their parents room (the balcony). If you have a group of 7 like we did; this is definitely the way to go.

I’ve only sailed Royal class ships, but the biggest selection of slots was on the Sky (but I haven’t been on the Majestic yet)

I’ve only sailed a few Royal class ships..but I’ve sailed every class in carnival and on NO ship I’ve ever sailed, have I seen bar top video poker. Also; be careful..if you intend to “play for comps”; video poker is $5 a point…and especially drinking and playing, it’d take a WHILE to rack up any significant points to start getting casino offers.
