So maybe a walk around, up, down Mount Mauao which is close to the port? Our cruise was modified to 2 days in Rotorua. On day 2 I'm going to do a Maori culture tour and DH is doing a coastal tour. Viking offers many geo-thermal tours, but I think we had our fill of that in Beppu, Japan. Any experiences or ideas for Tauranga or Rotorua would be welcomed.😊

We are interested in visiting the National Kiwi Hatchery in Rotorua. Has anyone done this from the Port of Tauranga? If so, did you use public transportation? It seems that all of Viking's tours go to Rotorua, which is about an hour away, but even the included tour doesn't give you time on your own. I suppose that Viking doesn't run a shuttle, or do they? Thanks!

It seems to me that there are many different experiences with MVJ and it's also dependent on device, but even that isn't consistent. DH's experience is also different from mine and we both have the same account. We've checked our settings, blah, blah, blah, but it's very inconsistent.

I hope I get to that point. We are soon booking excursions for our January trip, so since the excursions were posted, we have been perusing the site a couple of times a day. Maybe I'm just impatient because it's taking me several extra seconds to log in. 😊

At my last log in, Viking asked for feedback. So I gave them quite a bit.

Possibly La Roche-Posay, Avène and a few others. I have never seen them on Viking. They’re very good and I buy them before I leave home.

I was hoping to do that here in Toronto, but it ended up being so expensive. It was less expensive for me to order it from the States.

The Australian circumnavigation cruise sounds like a very nice journey. Maybe we'll see you around the M Social before the NZ cruise starts. Enjoy!

I agree with you. It would be nice if Viking provided a "Free and Clear" brand.

Excursions were just posted today for the January 6 cruise.

And that guy was on our Amazon cruise with a toque that didn't match.

We had Air Canada flights in April Toronto to Hong Kong and in May Vancouver to Toronto. We have flights booked with AC Toronto to Auckland in December and in January Sydney to Toronto. All 4 of these flights had changes many times. We were never notified by AC. We only found out about the changes by logging in every once in a while. But each change offered a chance to cancel without a fee.

I think that depends on the bathing suit fabric. While on board, I have heard anecdotes of the spinner altering the shape of the suit.
