  9. I did not know that, sould have said hello. I am very grateful for all they do. There is no question, they are in deep du du. They owe a ton of meny and have to answer to the ultimate bosses, the stockholders. The road back to where they belong (the top), will be long with many a winding turn, but they will get there. The reason is that their best attribute, is their people and all the FUN, not the ships of the gifts.
  10. We did a side to side on the Horizon (6 day our of Miami) and Mardi Gras (7 day out of PC, 2nd sailing of the ship. When the homeports are this far apart, it took some coordination. We rented a car one way to drive to Miami airport, took an Uber to ship. Got off of Horizon (first off the ship, Uber to airport, to car rental where a rental was waiting, drove to PC (4 hours) dropped off car at rental near cruise port, got Tested (this was last August) and boarded the ship at 3:15pm. Not for the feint of heart.
  11. And they totally get it. None of which has to do with complaining on what you get for a gift from them. If someone crusies for a chatchki gift, it says much more about them then the line. They are doing the very best they can in a situation NONE of their doing. Being the biggest was not a plus in this rxample.
  12. A cruise line that is part of a parent company that is 22 billions of dollars in the hole and their loyal clients are complaining about a little sign of loyalty.

  14. Did I say I did not like your post? What is the fun in jsut moving on? Interaction is what makes this place rock. The 2 times a day room service is a dead horse. We can continue to beat the dead horse if we want…or not. All that said, tips and whether you or I pay them or pull them have ZERO to do with how many times a day a room gets made, the tip for ALL of the RS service. A RS asking (pre or post covid) is them asking, nothing more nothing less. MOST are fine with it, some are not, Period.
  15. I really do not have a dog in this fight, but the vegetarian option is offered EVERY night, both in MDR and Lido. Just got off the panorama and loved it.
  16. If only there was logic there. I guess if we continually throw stuff up against the wall we start believing it…..or not. Some experienced ones do not either.

  18. I agree, there are a ton of options. Actually had a discussion with the Maitre’d on this topic and asked if the MDR staff was less busy. He said yes, but it was turning out to be less of an issue than they originally thought.
