Another covid thread bites the dust.

If I drink eight in a single day, then I know I probably won’t be spending the evening in my bed; they’ll find me passed out in a hallway somewhere with a weird hat on.

I just read a report here and saw a video of the new Discovery where the laundry room they videoed in showed “FREE” on the machines annunciators with all the detergent stacked on the shelves above. So now I’m confused.

They are supposedly now free. Along with the detergent to them.

As far as specialty dining is concerned, the app will not let me do anything. As far as the MDR, that has been hit or miss. I think I’ve got it now to where I want it to be. No guarantees. I tried using my wife’s version of the app without success. Her app has the same problem as mine does. It’s also no help to go to the Web app. I get the same messages. I think the only way to solve this is to try to talk to princess before sailing.

I’ve tried it several times, the most recent being last night with the “new“ instructions. No dice. I’m still showing yellow lane departure, which I assume means I’m unvaccinated. I haven’t tried my wife’s account yet but she’s unvaccinated else as well so I’m assuming she’s going to have the same results. It doesn’t matter now; regular dining has relegated us to being served no earlier than 8:20, so specialty dining will have us seated very late, too. Thank you for your attempt to help.

Yes, it says that selections for specialty dining will be available closer to departure. We sail Oct1st.

It’s amazing that our app says the same thing yet all the desirable times for specialty dining are taken. We cruise October 1st.

Trying to book dinner on the app, both for MDR and a couple of the specials like Crown Grille. Disaster.

It’s the most broken app I’ve ever used. It’s worse than useless, especially when it comes to making specialty dining reservations.

We are booked on Discovery on October 1, our first cruise since the late “unpleasantness”. We have not received any indications from anyone that it is on the chopping block.

Thank you! This is the kind of thing I’m looking for. It’s one thing to have a huge ship with lots of people on it but the design of the ship itself can make it feel crowded or like a desert wasteland.

Having lived on the California coast most of my life, I can tell you that October is the best weather of the entire year.

I’m not trying to beat around bushes. I’m trying to get information on Princess’s newest ship, the itinerary, and any other info I can glean. Sorry if the way I put it left you in confusion.
