  1. What on earth are you talking about??? NCL does not book charters (except Tahiti as far as I know). The flights NCL uses are the same commercial flights that I would be able to book myself. Often at a considerable savings.
  2. No. You can go 1 way, you can start and end in different cities if you wish. But you have to call, can't do it without help.
  3. Slightly off subject, since my upcoming trip is international, but I'm going to Qatar in December. Just checked the prices for my flights (which BTW are the flights that also come up as best choice when I search). My flight to Qatar (quickest listed) is $3,302, about 17 hrs. Cheapest flight is $1,673, 23 hours. Flight home from Dubai (quickest listed) is $1,882, 24 hours. Cheapest is $1,128, 58 hours. So $3,302 + $1,882 -$989 (what I paid NCL) = over $4k in savings if I had wanted to pay the price for those flights - although I may have opted for longer flights just to save myself some money. So that's why I fly NCL under certain conditions. But I don't use NCL if I have specific plans for my time pre or post cruise. As to Seattle, it's a 5hr drive for me, simpler to drive than fly....
  4. Deck depends on the tide and/or port. Sometimes it changes during the day as the tide changes. So no way to predict.
  5. Erase that info from your mind, it's incorrect.
  6. Who knows why searches sometimes pick up foreign sites, it happens. Especially if you're traveling. First clue is the /no/en in the web address - means Norway/english Second clue is by the final payment date, 120 days, for US bookings.
  7. Um - that would be 120 days in the US - what you posted is NOT the US site Cancellation Fee Schedule (ncl.com)
  8. Assuming you are referring to the "latitudes" benefit, which doesn't require a coupon in the first place, that would be a no. Poor formatting on the card, so the instructions look like a coupon.
  9. I don't either unless it appears they have left out relevant information.
  10. Pretty easy to look at a profile and figure it out.
  11. Unused credit would NOT, under normal circumstances, be returned to your credit card. Reason being, banks do not like having a refund request on an account that doesn't have a corresponding expenditure. There is no link between the credit card you used to book your cruise/excursions and your onboard expenditures, so if you have an outstanding balance at the end of the cruise, you might not have any NCL expenditures on that card. I have gone to GS in the morning on the last full day - to avoid the lines. They grumbled but I got my refund.
  12. OP appears to be sailing in 4 days. That pretty much explains it.
  13. So, last fall I was in Europe when there was a time change ( DST ). Lots of angry passengers that got up an hour early because their phones changed and the ship didn't notify them, etc. Well, the ship didn't notify them because there wasn't actually a time change where we were docking. And rarely, the ship will not switch to local time. Sometimes happens on trips that zig zag between time zones. I'll stick to my low tech solutions. I also have a dual time zone watch. Set to my home zone and I change the current zone as necessary.
  14. I've been told they do but never signed up. I once asked about having the choice to have announcements made into the rooms (can't hear anything when they are just in the hallways, unless you happen to have the tv on and set to the right channel). They said that option exists on the 2 newest ships - hopefully they will retrofit the others. I'd be more than happy to get a middle-of-the-night wakeup call. Or when there's a pod of whales or other wildlife (yes, they do have a whale-sighter on the bridge).
  15. This is what I travel with- it's magnetic so sticks to the wall. And I personally like having a clock somewhere in the cabin.
  16. You can set a wakeup call on your room phone. you can also use your phone/tablet as an alarm but be careful - depending on the settings, your time could be off if you change time zones and your device decides to update - or not - as you reach land. Had that happen to me on a repo cruise from San Diego to Florida. Phone didn't update the whole time we were outside the US - but decided to update by 3 hours when we got close to land, so my alarm time got bypassed!
  17. Also scheduled for ME in late December, including a pre-cruise tour in Qatar. I still plan on going - no cruise line is going to intentionally keep a cruise that endangers their crew, passengers and ship. Same thing happened with cruises to the Baltics in 2022, I went, had a wonderful time. Only concession I'm making is to wait until December to apply for a SA visa.
  18. It has been said oh so many times.... Just because you miss a port doesn't mean that NCL has collected extra taxes/fees overall. They only have to return any taxes/fees that are in excess.
  19. I did white water rafting as an optional excursion while on the NCL tour. Look at the options offered by Alaska Railroad for some or all if you're thinking of a DIY.
  20. Dinner benefit is per eligible person, not per cabin. If there are more than 2 eligible passengers, they can get additional coupons from the CruiseNext desk.
  21. Per posts on another site, you should have gotten an email, they are working on restoring everything.
