Agree with the above. We've never ordered an item for which there was an additional charge. The burgers, quesadillas, desserts are included for the basic $15 charge incurred when first using the service. The onboard menu is extremely clear about those items that are extra charge and which are not. Very intuitive so one shouldn' t be concerned about accidentally stumbling into an extra charge item (some are costly). Pro Tip: The $15 charge is a one-time charge per individual. If two or more are ordering together, e.g. a couple in the same cabin, designate one individual to place all orders rather than each individual ordering separately. In this way the $15 charge appears only once per cabin. I would certainly not encourage one individual to order for those outside the his/her cabin. I expect that there is some monitoring system set up to flag a large order, or series of large orders, being placed by someone in a cabin for two. If too many try to "game the system", I can see where this would result in some not so nice changes to the program.

Each day on board, the medallion wifi page will show you a declining cost to purchase Wi-Fi for the remaining days of a given cruise.

There will generally be wifi available at ports of call along the way. Generally speaking Wi-Fi and terminal buildings ashore is abysmal. I’m thinking more retail and restaurant establishments away from the port itself.

It’s really neat that the medallion can be used for going ashore either for excursions or at the end of the cruise. Other cruise lines, I’m thinking MSC and probably others, have a medallion type device that opens cabin doors and can be used for onboard purchases, but the cruise card is still required when leaving the ship. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Let's keep talking about it on a public forum and give MSC more incentive to kill it.

Find a good travel agent and let them deal with it. They have (at least the one we use) direct contact with stateside Princess personnel who are always (our experience anyway) able to get things done. Life's far too short to deal with Princess offshore personnel.

We just left from 14 days in YC on Seascape. I took a Lightening to HDMI cable in an attempt to connect my iPhone 13 to the TV. No matter what I did I could not make it work. My iPad has a USB-C connector and I didn’t have a USB-C to HDMI cable so I couldn’t try that. The TV in our cabin also had USB-A inputs. I couldn’t connect there either. I’m following other responses you may get.

Just the term OnBoard Credit would imply that it must be used totally onboard. As the name implies. However, just to keep us from assuming too much, someone at Princess decided that OBC can be used for excursions prior to boarding. But nothing else.
