Hi everyone. I am posting here now to tell everyone here Thank You for letting me be part of the CC community for all this time and thank you for putting up with my views and opinions over the years. Unfortunately, as a result of my declining health since 2022 (including multiple open heart surgeries), and my wife's advancing Huntington's disease, we have been advised by our health care professionals that we can no longer cruise. 😞 I realize ny views have at tines, maybe even often, been contrary to those of many other members and have come across as abrupt, rude, or arrogant. My sincere if I have been offputting to any of you. I may drop in here from time-to-time going forward to see how folks are doing , but I'll be posting very little. I hope you all continue to cruise, stay safe, and have wonderful cruise experiences every time you sail. Thanks again, sail on!

I see no 'error;. You said the cabin WAS indeed the class you reqyested. ADA cabins are NOT reserved for anyony, however if you book one w/o need and another passenger needs ine after they are all booked, NCL wil start calling those who booked them and as for volunteers to move. If no one does so, they will move someone randomly. But since you did get the class you requested, no error. Cabin floor plans vary from ship to ship even within the same cabin type.

One should NEVER wear a cap while dining, verey bad manners. Also wearing a cap sideways/backwards not only look very silly, it is quite juvenile to say the least.

I have dined at every specialty dining on every ship I have sailed. I ALWAYS wear Levi blue jeans and a t-shirt and have NEVER had an issue. Some may SUGGEST a collared shirt but NONE actually require it.

But sometimes the jokes just write themselves!

A wristband on a bag means nothing. It simply proves that SOMEONE has legit access and not necessarily the person with the bag. Also if they were checking everyone who was entering why would security ever need to remove anyone let alone 'a bunch of people'?

The Vibe is the most over-priced and WAY over-hy[ed location/activity on the ship. Was barely worth the cost at the original price.

You don't need to switch anything. Thew new app is just that, a new app. It is not an upgrade of an existing app. You can have both installed and use them both just like using any other two apps.

Seeing that I take care of all of that myself within about 15 minutes pre-cruise, I find the concierge to be pretty much useless.

Are they hinged? Yes CAN they be opened? Yes Are you allowed to open them? NO

Go to Guest Services day one and cancel whatever you want. It will be credited to your acct.

Bottom line fact is that changes can and do happen at any time for many reasons. The cruise contract explains that this is possible and that no explanation is necessary. This is not at all unique to NCL. It happens on all lines. When it does happen, the cruise line can't win. If they give no explanation people whine even though the contract agreed states they owe none. If they do give an explanation those sane people complain that they do not like it, Yeah it sucks when plans get changed but I have a lot more important things to worry about, All facts,

While I highly doubt that NCL is going to file for bankruptcy, or that outsourcing IT is even a slight indication of that happening, one day of stock pricing is of no relevance.

They have a wide variety of food so even picky eaters will fidn soemthign to their liking.

Smelling tequila won't kill you. Bretahing in 2nd hand smoke can. As long as you don't stick your nose in someone's drink you won't smell tequila. Pointng out a fact is not complaining.

Not to worry. At some point down the road all cruise ships will be 100% non-smoking. May not be soon, but it will eventually happen. If tobacco states like VA and NC can ban smoking in bars, restaurants, anything is possible in the realm. I am looking forward to the day it is announced and will applaud loudly.
