  1. From what I have heard many ships are having the same issue.
  2. All you can do is mask up, use hand sanitizer and hope you get lucky. We have done 4 cruises and the 4th on Apex gave us covid. I think the ships are petri dishes for it. Everything you touch, someone else has touched it also. The air inside can only circulate so much of it out. Take medication with you as I have read the ship stores no longer stock anything. Have fun, good luck.
  3. It seems there are less excursion options and smaller amount of people allowed to sign up. Hence sold outs are the new norm.
  4. We have done deck 7, 9 and 10 all were fine. Here is a picture of side window on balcony
  5. We have done Edge and Apex. The S1 has the bed facing the window, S3 faces the TV on the wall. Not sure about S2. The cabins on the end of each row does have a extra window. We love them! So yes 8210 or 8220 do have a side window.
  6. We heard they won't be doing the shopping guides on any of the Edge class ships because they want cruisers to purchase from the ship.
  7. Good review thanks for sharing. Makes me want to stay home and not cruise. We did 4 cruises since covid and got sick the last cruise on the last day. Thank goodness we just drove home from the ship.
  8. Which ships? we did Edge and Apex both were great for service and food.
  9. You should be able to find the answer on the website. I agree with others I wouldn't take an unvaccinated child on a cruise right now. Almost all ships have Covid cases, and it's spreads easily. We got Covid after being on Apex we were careful, and still got it.
  10. Celebrity ships have music venues around the ship. We were on Apex last month and enjoyed it all.

  12. I agree with the fact that if we are paying the price of a suite we should expect the service. However with the issue of covid and the fact they cant seem to employ enough staff, then we simply won't cruise. We have done 4 cruises in the past 6 months and they were great. However if our June cruise suffers because of staff issues we won't book anymore until they get things fixed. There are plenty of other ways to travel.
  13. Not really, we knew the ships got a kickback from the shops they promoted. So we usually shop other places.
  14. I have done ships and would do symphony just because it's newer.
  15. We have not sailed on Royal for many years as we usually do Celebrity. Taking a 4 night in June. First wondering if when we board (11:00) will we be able to drop our carry on luggage in our room? (We can do this on Celebrity). Also what condition is the ship in? We were last on her 8 years ago. (Just wondering if she is looking old). Thanks for any info!
