Is float out going to be next weekend?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Forums mobile app
That's what it appears to be ! According to everything that has been found so far
-
Lloyd would I be correct in stating it looks like she is floating in the basin with the mooring lines out and tied off?
-
If I remember correctly the surcharge was 6.00 to 8.00 us .
-
That pictures looks like the one on stx Europe website for their cabin page if the website. That's where I remember seeing it
-
I believe we're 6 hours earlier - so 1AM
Germany is 6hrs ahead of us
-
The other thing to remember is not all the cabins are prefab, the high end suites are built on the ship, vs put together and rolled into place.

You can use any card you may have in your wallet.
I have never been on a ship that has this feature, I figured maybe it looked for the barcode on the back of your sea pass.. Thanks for the info

I enjoyed the video !! I do agree with the doors and all, but being a bigger guy those phone booths are some what trying at times.
My thought on the card in the wall to get power is goto guest services and ask for another sea pass and just leave it in there
-
I wouldn't be surprised if the standard cabins have the phone booth style shower and the higher end cabins have the hinge mounted doors.
-
Truly amazing video !! At least they know now in a pinch they can float it out to fix it
-
It would be nice to see some internal shots and see where the progress is..

Thank you for the info, and pics. Looks like I will have a place to hang out while I'm there in dec.

So excited I see my balcony door 2 decks above that scaffold like structure on deck 5. My Quantum cabin is directly below it on deck 6. (7648 & 6648).
Denise :D
I'm in the same 6648 !! Hopefully some pics soon

Great news. Thanks for sharing.
P.S. Hope Turku has a better webcam. ;)
unfortunately when they were building the oasis class the only pictures we could get was from another website that one of the guys that worked at yard was posting. Lets hope with Meyer Werft taking over they will place a web cam there as well.

How many days out before the planner opens up ! I know I'm far away from being able to use it.
-
My bad, was half asleep when I found it and I just enlarged it to see it, and because it was rendering I thought maybe they were doing it. It would be nice to see

They really don't waste anytime... Thank you for the pictures

Broken into sections? The ship is being built, it wasn't broken into sections.
The anthem is broken into sections, the ship in the picture is the quantum. They floated out the one section of the anthem last weekend, scroll through the pages here and you will see the pictures.

Kind of the same thing they have in Fort Lauderdale

Just amazing !!!

This is kind of bitter sweet, I find the building process so amazing. They know just where to place the blocks, and the shear size of the blocks. Now we have to wait for someone to sneak pictures of the work on the inside.
-
Wasn't the FlowRider block for Quantum already installed? See attacehed image from 1-27-14 Webcam.

Yes ! That block should be for the anthem

I'm interested in hearing how the sailing goes, a group that I travel with will being the same route in dec. I have never been on a radiance class, and have been looking for pictures, but most of them are from before the refit.
