  1. The coffee at the Elite breakfast was very good. I've had regular, cappuccino's and americano's at one time or another. The venue will depend on how many Elites are onboard. We did a B2B in the fall and the first cruise was in the Bistro since there were only 25 or so Elites. The second cruise of the B2B (a transatlantic) there were well over 300 elites and the venue was moved to the Tuscan dining room.
  2. We didn't get lip balm in our suite on the Beyond in February BUT did get lip balm 2 weeks before in Aqua Class on the Reflection.
  3. That is true. On the Reflection this year in Blu I ordered lobster and the waiter brought two as he said, "because they are so small." Also on another cruise on Beyond this year in Luminae I only had one lobster but could order another at no charge.
  4. At my gym a lot of guys use the sauna fully dressed, including shoes. I shake my head everytime I see it....just don't understand it. I think it's become a generational thing.
  5. Hi Gigglewolf, Over the past year I've been on the Silhouette, Equinox and Reflection. They have not touched any of the saunas. The Silhouette was refurbished pre-covid with no changes to the men's sauna. The changing rooms with the sauna and showers are pretty much incorporated into the Spa and fitness areas and none of that has been touched. Whatever ship you decide to sail on have a great time.
  6. I second that. The music in the gym was not bad at all and I was able to use my AirPods with no issues
  7. You are going to love Simi. She was our butler on the February 19 sailing on Beyond. We met her last October on the Edge when she was a F&B wait staff. Please tell her Dan & Penny said HI. We miss her. You're going to enjoy the Retreat and the Beyond!! Everyone treats you very well.
  8. Just off Beyond and 2 weeks ago the Reflection. No roaming photographers. We only saw them taking photos with a backdrop each night.
  9. Yes, the saunas were awesome. As you mentioned, Summit has been revolutionized and so had the Millennium. We'll be on the Constellation in October/November so looking forward to the original sauna. Enjoy the Summit!
  10. On Celebrity ships, when the refurbishments begin again sometime in the future, the saunas on the remaining M class ships will be moved from their current location starboard with the windows facing the sea to a sauna on the portside with a glass wall facing the locker room. The saunas on the S class ships will remain the same when refurbishments are made. Of course, that is the plan now but it's subject to change.
  11. Returned from the lounge when you were lit or the device was!?!😆
  12. If you are traveling on the Summit you can check your Celebrity app under Bars and Lounges for your sailing. On my app for an upcoming Reflection cruise it shows the martini bar opening at 10:30am on embarkation day. When we cruised on a b2b on Edge in October the martini bar did open somewhere between 10:00-11:00 on the second leg.
  13. We are 32 days out for our Beyond cruise and have not received e-docs or luggage tags. So it may depend on the ship or there may not be any rhyme or reason for it.
  14. cruisemom42- We will be using transfers from Venice to Ravenna later this year but didn't see anything on our Cruise Planner where we could book it. Do we need to call Celebrity or have our TA do it for us? How far in advance were you able to book it? Thanks for your help and for the outstanding information you provide us fellow cruisers!!
  15. Hi, GenerationX, who is on Celebrity now and currently posting her trip, will be on MSC in YC right after her current cruise and doing a comparison review.
  16. Charla, your thread is great. Just like you we did an upper suite on the Equinox last February. It was the Penthouse and my wife had no idea we were staying there...it was a surprise for her. I actually got it on a Move-Up bid. We thought we died and went to heaven when we saw the suite. The highest category we've ever stayed in was a Sky Suite. You'll love the pampering so take in every moment!! and YES, there is a picture of you that crew members see. We never got used to many of the crew that called us by name. We kept thinking "where do they know us from".
  17. Such a shame they did away with the saunas that had the windows. So now there's no windows to the sea but they now have windows to the locker room!! We'll be on Constellation for 25 days in October/November so looking forward to some sauna time while there. Don't expect any changes to the sauna before 2025.
  18. We were on the Edge last month and dined at Eden. You cannot see any of the musical performers from Eden but you can hear them. They had music starting generally around 6pm and mixed it up with singing, piano, acoustic guitar and electric cello. One of the performers told us were being told to keep the volume quieter because of complaints from some diners (we loved listening to the music while dining). The performers got together later in the evening, around 11:30pm for a jam session and could play louder.
  19. Since it is a Transatlantic the return home will be from Tampa where I will most likely use miles to book it. You're guess is correct though, it's too early.
  20. We are on the 10/30 TA on Constellation and were able to choose our one-way flight to Venice.
  21. We have found from sailing a b2b on Edge last month that the hostess in each of the 4 dining rooms generally tries to seat you in the same area, with the same server, as in your past visit. Out of the 24 nights we spend on Edge I'd say we had the same servers about 60% of the time. On nights where we didn't it was because their section was full.
  22. In the past I could always access seats and assign/change them either on the AA app or going to the AA website. Now I can't assign seats for an upcoming cruise, so I called FBC and they were able to assign seats. Once you have seats they will be reflected in AA....still can't change them yourself until after your booking is ticketed.
  23. Yes, they will make mocktails. You'll see kind of an ebb and flow to the crowd. We always seem to go during a super busy time. You will notice a lot of people head to dinner or go to the show around 7pm so you most likely find a seat at the bar then, if not before. Evening Chic night it's usually always very busy no matter the time.
