  1. Hi winoclock, we were in Sky Suite #11180 on the Reflection. It was one of the two suites in the center of the MC.
  2. Will be on B2B Celebrity Constellation next month sailing the Adriatic from Ravenna then the Transatlantic from Civitavecchia. I will let you know the current setup in the men's sauna. I don't believe there has been any refurbishment of this ship as stated in the Steam/Sauna database. From what I recall of the four M class ships only the Summit and Millenium have been changed. Constellation still has the big windows overlooking the ocean. Fingers crossed.
  3. We were in a Magic Carpet Sky Suite in February and had a lot of noise. I agree that ships make creaking sounds and when the seas are rough the creaking is increased but in our 60+ cruises we have never encountered so much creaking, snapping and banging throughout the walls and windows. When we notified the ship they came in within a couple days, took down all the trim at the top of the walls, inserted rubber or foam and reinstalled the trim. They also added additional screws along the top of the windows. These changes improved the issue. We were told they are aware of these issues throughout some of the cabins and were attempting to fix them as they are being pointed out so hopefully guests that are staying in previously noisy cabins are now not having issues. That could be why many are now not experiencing any noise.
  4. Years ago, maybe 15 years now, I had a male therapist on a Celebrity cruise but I have only seen female therapists since.
  5. Yes they have a free sauna. I know only the Millenium and Summit have been "revolutionized" where they moved the sauna and locker room from starboard to port. They added additional cabins on the starboard side and the new saunas now have a glass wall overlooking the locker room area. The Infinity and Constellation still have the sauna with the great views out the windows. None of the Celebrity ships have a free steamroom.
  6. To folks who have taken the Celebrity transfer from Venice to Ravenna we may be taking the Celebrity transfer before our cruise in October. We will be travelling with someone who has mobility issues. Once the bus reaches the port in Ravenna how far away does the bus let us off from where the porters can take our luggage. She is concerned about the distance from the bus to the porter. Thanks for your help.
  7. Here's hoping they don't make any CC enhancements before year-end 😬
  8. I am at 2817 points and, fingers crossed, should make it to Zenith after completing our December cruise. That is, if Celebrity doesn't move the goal post before the end of the year. My wife has 2801 points. Don't know why hers are different. Checked with Captains Club and was told when I make Zenith my DW will also be classified as Zenith. I don't hold much faith in this. She won't have 3,000 points after the December cruise. We did sign up for the Go Green program for those cruises so if the GG program is still in effect by then she will just squeak by. We'll most likely check with the Captains Club hostess on board.
  9. We received this email last year after we booked a SS on the Beyond for this past February. The embarkation dates for us only went through, I think, October or November of last year. Several months later we got a new email which included our embarkation date. We also just got the email for our SS booking in November, 2023. Same thing is happening...the embarkation dates only go through June 2023. So we'll wait again several months and see what happens.
  10. We also had no issues on the three sailings we took on the Edge. Just on the Beyond that I posted about previously.
  11. We did that too during the night so as not to wake up each other when using the bathroom.
  12. We sailed on Beyond with a friend who had an accessible cabin. Those cabins are just about the same size as an SS. The cabin had an IV with the standard size window that opens along with a narrower pane of glass. It looked fine and I think would have worked well in an SS but not for larger suites.
  13. I fully agree with you as there was a discussion about this on another thread. I cannot understand how some guys can go into a sauna almost fully dressed and think they are deriving any benefit from it.
  14. We used Rome Cabs for probably 7 of the 8 times we've been to Rome and have never had any issues with them. They were always on time, pleasant and had clean vehicles. Most of those transfers were to Civitavecchia.
  15. Sounds like you were on the same sailing as us. We were in SS #11180 within the MC. The first night was unbearable with the cracking, popping and banging. Not to mention that the wall by our headboard sounded like a bowling ball rolling back and forth. I mentioned this to our butler and by the third day a crew spent almost 4 hours and basically tore apart and put back together the ceiling, trim and put in extra screws all along the top window and door frame. The Retreat host explained afterwards that a shoreside engineering crew was onboard our sailing to handle these issues as they were being notified by guests. They were trying to resolve as much as they could before Beyond sails to Europe. As for our room it was much quieter after the repairs. However, the bowling ball in the wall was still there but nothing could be done about that since the wall itself would have to be disassembled. Maybe during the next drydock. We did sleep much better!!
  16. We were on the pool deck of Reflection last month but under cover since the sun was too strong for us. This was around 10:30. So many of the loungers surrounding the pool were occupied with books, shoes, towels, you name it....but no people. About 11am the ship ran into a squall and the wind was blowing so hard it took all the "stuff" from the chairs (including the cushions on the double loungers) and blew them into a big pile by the bandstand, or into the pool. Seating in the undercover area was not affected. That was one quick way of clearing the loungers!! 😄
  17. When we sailed on Reflection last month we left from pier 29. Beyond was at pier 25. When we returned the following week we docked at pier 18. A HAL ship was at pier 29. Beyond was at pier 25. We sailed on Beyond two weeks later and left and returned to pier 25.
  18. We are staying in Venice in the fall and travelling to Ravenna. I looked into transfers from both Find Transfers (got 5 quotes) and Celebrity (Called my TA and got the cost information, $58). There is also the train but it's not direct to Ravenna but rather ends in Bologna and you transfer to a Ravenna train. I believe there's also a bus (FlixBus) you can take from Venice to Ravenna.
  19. So glad you got your points taken care of. What is Celebrity Cruises Help? Is that the same as Captains Club? We're also showing a point difference between my DW and my accounts and I was wondering how to get it resolved.
  20. We had a full moon deck party recently on Reflection although they called it a new moon deck party since there wasn't any moon out 🤣 . A lot of people wore white.
  21. One night on the Beyond last month we had a deck party. It started at 9:45-10:00. The pools and hot tubs outside were open as I remember seeing 6-7 people in the pool and someone in the hot tub. Don't know if that's the same every night. A coupe nights before the end of the cruise the main pool was drained after dinner.
