  1. I have read that Johnny Rockets is not included (in the UDP) on ships that are al a carte only. Is that the case? Also does anyone know if Johnny Rockets is included on Anthem of the Seas for Star Class since it is al a carte?
  2. I have never had a issue with getting my SeaPass card off the door before rooms are ready. Especially if I have the drink package, because I have had issues where they would not give me the soda cup without the physical card.
  3. So how does that work when you leave? I mean since you more than likely don't have a vacuum on the ship that you can use? Is it a manual pump?
  4. I never knew this was a thing. I have booked many cruises at Next Cruise and have never received anything.
  5. I haven't had to do this in a while, but you used to be able to cancel on board and the refund would go to your sign and sail account as OBC. Then any OBC left from that refund would be refunded back to the card at the end of the cruise.
  6. @vacationlover_mn I have seen motorized scooters, wheel chairs, motorized wheelchairs, even those large motorized chairs for those with severe disabilities. You can bring your own, all Royal ships are ADA compliant. Newer ships (like the Quantum and Oasis class) have better accessibility than the older ships, but like I mentioned all are ADA compliant so easily accessible. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/experience/accessible-cruising/mobility-disabilities
  7. You should have just took the credit! 😁 Well thats good to know. My concern with going digital, was that you would have to use the app for the schedules exclusively. I enjoyed the paper copies as I could scan and keep them. I was worried I would have to resort to endless scrolling and screen recording to get the same thing. However, now that I know that they essentially give you a digital copy of the original format, it is very pleasing. Thanks for the info!
  8. @nyc12345 Dang look at you getting all professional with adding title cards in there with your scans, plus multiple languages! Nicely done!
  9. In case you wanted to know: Gold - Gold Set Sail Pass Platinum - Gray Set Sail Pass Emerald - Light Green Set Sail Pass Diamond - Light Blue Set Sail Pass Diamond Plus - Purple Set Sail Pass Pinnacle - Someone help me out on that one as I have not reached that level to see 😁. Probably blue like the Crown and Anchor Pinnacle badge
  10. I wonder if Royal is changing that now since, as many have said, the employees as the Suite entrance, have the ability to scan passes now. Previously not all entrances had scanners, so maybe they are outfitting them all now with scanners, so no need to visually check on the pass itself. Plus it is really easy to photoshop a set sail pass, to cut and paste the suite designation to/from another pass you kept with the suite designation and put it on another pass. The same can be said with check-in times. With only visual confirmation there is no way for them to know if it is accurate or not, but with scanners, that cannot be faked. With that being said, I still always carry my final booking invoice with me, just in case there are any issues with that and/or at check-in.
  11. I have never witnessed anyone having luggage that wouldn't fit but my guess would be #2 on your list with one addition; make the customer go back to the luggage porters and drop it off themselves.
  12. My guess is Royal Caribbean doesn't want to be to blame for incorrect information. Since Royal is not the vendor they don't want to mention something that the vendor does not deliver on or did not provide to Royal as included. If they were to do that Royal would have to eat the cost in the form of a refund, since the vendor did not make those specifics to Royal in the form of the excursion description, thus Royal would still have to pay the vendor. Same thing on the vendor side, they don't want to include something, and then during the day of the tour something happens for whatever reason, and then the customer complains to Royal, then they refund the customer, then hold back payment to the vendor. It more than likely all relates back to money lost.
  13. The only benefit for it specifically stating suite is for embarkation benefits like the suite waiting area, priority boarding, and where you have the flexibility of showing up one hour before or after assigned boarding time.
  14. I am not sure about Royal, but I have seen on some Carnival ships during some dancing classes, they have an employee sitting down in a chair doing some of the moves for those with disabilities. So maybe look for that versus something specifically for the more mature group. While this isn't listed as exercise specifically, it still gets one moving and is better than nothing. 😉
  15. They do still have the limited suite benefits they have always have, however there have been some changes to the "suite" badging. Don't know if it is intended behavior or not, but I have found that adding the Set Sail Pass to the wallet on iOS devices will show the suite badging, where it does not in the app. I don't know if this workaround works on Android devices, but if they have an iOS device adding it to wallet should show the suite badging.
  16. I have never had an issue. But I don't usually travel with the larger 28" luggage. Every port I have been to, their scanner is able to accommodate the 24" luggage I typically bring. I am pretty sure that anything larger than that will have an issue, as the 24" luggage barely clears the sides of the scanner at some ports.
  17. +1 for the Aqua Theatre Suite, especially with kids. But like others have said, it is a bit of a hike from your suite to anything else on the ship. Also I have noticed that Wi-Fi is pretty spotty back there, more so then other locations on the ship. This was pre Starlink though, so that may no longer be an issue.
  18. My best guess, in case you don't get any other definitive answer, is that if you leave at 2pm, 60 minutes of travel time to Sea World since it is closest to Port Canaveral (assuming no traffic or accident) you would arrive at the park at 3:00-3:15pm. Then probably about 10-15 minutes to walk from the bus drop off to getting through the turnstiles at the front gates. If you are going for the shows, you are going to be highly dependent on the show times of said shows. Also those shows typically run around 30 minutes each. One show could easily carve out 60 minutes of your time depending on the showtime. If you are going only for rides, then in three hours, you would probably have enough time to get through most of the thrill rides, if not all, at that time in October. If the park closes at 6pm I would imagine pickup would be maybe 6:30-7:00pm at the latest in order to give time for those walking from the back of the park or those already queued for a ride at 5:59pm. If they do depart at 6pm, then that will cut down on your ability to do more things as you would have to make sure you would not be stuck in a line that would prevent you from getting back to the bus at 6pm.
  19. Bummer, I just checked after you mentioned that and I get the same thing. I figured since it was there that it would work, my apologies.
  20. I am not sure of the return pickup times, however it is about a 90 minute ride to the theme parks from Port Canaveral, so at least 3 hours of travel time. When does the ship depart? Also with the current state of Disney and how they are handling queues/wait times, for that short amount of time, to do anything you would have to pay for the Genie+/Lightning Lane service. Otherwise you may get on only a couple of rides. Like Pratique noted, you need a good full day to really enjoy each park, whether that be any of the Disney Parks, Universal Parks or Sea World. Years ago, October used to be a really slow month, however over the last 5 years or so October has been really busy for the parks here in Orlando.
  21. Love me some Schooner Bar. The one thing I don't like about the Oasis and Quantum class ships, is they are all interior facing and have no views to the ocean. Just one of the many reasons I like the older class of ships.
  22. I agree. Excluding all the cons, if it is requested then it should be granted. Until Royal has an official policy in writing stating otherwise, it is not up to the dining staff/management to make up their own rules.
  23. I too prefer my balcony, however one other spot I like on Oasis class ships is the area right above the bridge, more specifically the bridge wings. I believe this is on deck 14, if I remember correctly.
  24. @Mikejd1 I think you have a better chance in messaging them through their profile. They have not been active for 2 months. Also if they are not following the topic or pay attention to their notifications, they may not ever know to respond to you in this thread. At least when you send a message, I believe, they get an email notification that they have a message.
