  1. All accessible rooms require the form to be filled out, not just fully accessible. We even had a regular balcony room, but using a wheelchair, and still had to fill out the form. We have an ambulatory accessible room in April and had to fill the form out. That is probably why you did not get accessible cabin assigned to you.
  2. You can watch You tube videos of 'Traveling with a chair." They cruise all over the place and the wife is in a wheelchair/scooter. There is one called "Carnival Sunrise to Half Moon Cay on a tender in a wheelchair" that shows you the whole process, tender and all.
  3. We were told to go to guest services when we were ready to get on tender. They called on radio and someone came, took us on elevator to tender. We had a wheelchair, others had scooters. They help you on the tender, both ways. Not all the tenders have handicap access. The island has a paved walkway all around it. To the shops, the bar and lunch area. The hard part was getting from pavement to beach chair, but with sand wheelchair help from workers..we did it. Beautiful place.
  4. Went there in May this year. I pushed my husband all around Key West in wheelchair (and i'm 60). All we really did was walk/look around at the shops. Went at our own pace. I think the only trouble we had was some of the shops had the racks of cloths so close together we couldn't get the wheelchair into some of them. Other than that, had a great time. I think the Conch tour train or the trolly can hold the wheelchair, at least they both say handicap accessible. We hope to try the Conch train tour when we go back next April.
  5. Just did this Dream trip in May. Lido balcony. We are doing it again in April. I plan on bringing a small fan, to me it got warm sometimes. We only ate in the dining room for seaday brunch twice, not once for dinner. !st time it was real busy, had to share table with 6 others. 2nd time we had our own table. We really enjoyed seaday brunch. We ate at steakhouse 1st night. Great food, took desert to go, got free bottle of wine. Took left over wine back to room. Also bought spa passes, wasn't ever busy. Did really good in the smoke free casino on deck 4! Thought we would try it again next year!
  6. I emailed OneSpaWorld who I guess run the spa's onboard. They said there are no more couple's spa passes on any cruise lines, only individual passes.
  7. The only reason I tried to fill it out is because it says needs to be filled out within 48 hours of booking. Cruise booked for April 2023 gives error. Booking for Nov. 2023 gives a 1 year date range to complete. Same with May 2024 cruise, it gives a 1 year date range also, so I don't know what's up with the April 2023 cruise.
  8. You were able to by the couple's pass? We are cruising next April on Dream and was wanting to get it for husband and I, but all they are selling is individual passes. We had bought it for our May 2022 Dream cruise, and it saved about $50 buy buying the couples pass instead of 2 separate passes.
  9. Mine is doing that too. Went on cruise in May, no problem with Verifly. Can’t get a green check mark now for April 2023 cruise. I emailed them, no help. I give up.
  10. I applied on June 9th for cruise next April, and was denied today June 30th. They said because it was a reduced rate promotion it does not qualify. Same Jackpot deal we did in May of this year, and we got the credit for that one.
  11. I am getting same error message for both my husband and me.
  12. It is $449 for the April 2023 8 night Dream cruise for cabana and $34.99 for clamshell. They were cheaper on last months cruise we went on.
  13. Yes, we just went last month and it was $349. We will stick with clamshell but even that went from $29.99 to $34.99. Just booked it for April.
  14. No umbrellas. Pay for clamshell before cruise (under excursions) because they sell out before cruise. Then get off early and go stand by the one you want. We walked down past ship bar, less crowded.
  15. I just tried it and won a $25 Walmart egift card. Claimed it and the email with gift card number went to my spam folder.
  16. Yes even when you reserve one I would still get one early. They resold the one next to us to someone who had not prepaid even though online it said sold out. Later, lady was walking around mad because there were no more clamshells even though she prepaid.
  17. We used them last month. Drove by day before cruise to make sure where to go. It looked abandoned, i called number and woman answered and reassured me it wasn't. Next morning showed up a little early and got right in building no problem. Shuttle came to car to pick up us and luggage; then took us straight to port! Easy and very nice. Pick up after cruis took a little while because shuttle only held 12 people and luggage. But good service and would use them again.
