Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We sail in a little over a week, and the activities and entertainment are just starting to show up in the app - they seem to load in batches and by sailing day. So for our 9-night cruise, we can see activities for the first 6 days or so.
  2. Clarifications above are correct - this is in the spa, not the fitness center. You would have to access the area by first checking in at the desk to get access to the Thermal Suite, then walk through part of the Thermal Suite area and by the heated loungers out a door to the small deck. Not possible without either being Aqua class or having a day/week pass.
  3. Since it is the host committee for a one-time event, is she actually leaving or just taking on this temporary community role in addition to her regular job?
  4. There is a small deck all the way forward on deck 14 - BUT the access is through the heated loungers in the Thermal Suite, so you must have purchased a spa pass to access it.
  5. Only the actual Aqua class and Aqua Sky Suites include access to the Persian Garden. It is not included in other suites. The Persian Garden is within the spa - it offers things like heated loungers, saunas, aromatherapy, etc.
  6. Lido has traditionally been a term for the deck with the buffet and pool - Celebrity generally has moved away from naming decks and toward just using deck numbers.
  7. No guest laundries on any Celebrity ship.
  8. There is not - there are cabanas for rent, but they are poolside and not quiet, and massages are not available. They do have food and drink service.
  9. Your check in date should be showing on the app and the website - it is usually around 45 days out. Your curse documents and luggage tags appear on the website at 30 days. Updated menus and activity schedules are on the app one to two weeks out. You do not need to reserve any shows on Celebrity.
  10. For us, it is the feeling that you have a team to help if there are any issues. Two examples, both on the same trip - we were on the Solstice in Alaska. one of our group started feeling quite unwell during an excursion. He contacted the Retreat concierge and was able to get escorted to the front of the tender line when he returned. On that same trip, my husband was dropped from a ship's excursion that we had already booked prior to sailing (it was a vendor error), and when we tried to rebook it the excursion showed full. Th Retreat concierge was able to work with the vendor or get him a space on the full excursion. That safety net makes us so much more relaxed.
  11. On our recent Icon sailing the 'naughty table' included many, many irons and steamers, and few power strips, plus what looked like an Instant Pot, a full-size pair of scissors, handcuffs, and a set of lawn sprinklers - the kind on stakes that you stick in the ground.
  12. We love sitting by a window in Blu no matter the ship, but just know that on Apex and Edge Blu is tucked in behind the lifeboats and that is your view. Didn’t bother us, but some were surprised.
  13. Just noting for accuracy that this is true only on Edge class ships - Celebrity's Millennium and Solstice class ships do not have infinite verandas.
  14. Based on past history of schedule releases, Europe sailings are announced in November. So November 2024.
  15. On our upcoming 9 day it is $279 per person or a little over $30 per day
