How can one start on 5-9 and the other on 5-12-24? They are both 7 night cruises.
Look at the starting and ending ports. Each one is a 7-day round trip.

would you choose Barcelona or Rome, with the main factor being ease from the airport to a hotel to the pier
Definitely Barcelona.

This whole process is ridiculous, with all the hype, teasers, insider information, and ultimately, disappointment. Same shtick, different year. 😡

I would check the confirmations. I recently upgraded and had a transfer disappear once before return air somehow went missing so now I check everything when a change is made.
I did. Nothing dropped off.

Yes, and CruisePlum provides the full price history. Are you just screwing with me now?🤡

It may have changed from an angled balcony to a regular one, that info isn’t always clear in the deck plans. Usually I’d expect a cabin with F as the second letter to be the family version with pull out sofa bed and/or pull down bunk which should be more expensive than the standard version.
Nope. the difference is a hull balcony vs. standard one. The price difference is only about $50. Apparently this cruise recently had a price drop that took effect when I changed cabins. Ca-ching!

Because your OP suggested that you might want to understand what changed and when? If it's more fun to just say "wow, look at this big surprise," then that's fine too.
I already said that nothing changed but the price.

Have you checked the history on CruisePlum?
Why would I need to do that?

Is BF the sail away rate?
Nope. I've still got all 4 perks of the Free at Sea rate.
BF is just the category of cabin.

This morning I called to move my balcony cabin on my Oct. 2024 Dawn sailing. I changed from BA to BF category, which is slightly cheaper. The agent expected a price drop of $50. She was shocked when it came out $532 cheaper! Nothing else changed, except for the cabin number.
Not sure why, but I'll take it! 🤗

But personally I prefer the new safety briefing format.
It's not really all about you.

The front page has the incremental release dates. So far Asia is all that has been released.
OK thanks. So, this article was wrong.

If RCI went back to in-person safety briefings, I would no longer cruise with them.
Oh my, such a hardship!
For years we've all wanted to go back to normal = kids in school; cruising again without masks, self-serve buffets. In-person muster drills are just part of "normal". Suck it up you bunch of babies.

All this whining about going back to in-person muster drills is just like the poor, entitled office workers who have been working from home, and now complain about going back to the office.
Boo friggin' hoo.

Yup. Hope springs eternal, as they say, but I guess we really should know better by now. 😕
Which is why I'll be cruising with Norwegian in Europe in late 2023 and 2024. More varied and interesting itineraries. At least they mix it up a little!

Yes, do pre-book
Thanks. How far in advance would you suggest that I buy tickets?

Good afternoon all,
First timer to England here. Flying from Toronto to Heathrow next May on Air Canada, scheduled to arrive on a Friday at 8:35 am (I think in terminal 2)
Is it possible to catch a National Express bus directly to Southampton from terminal 2? Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Thanks.
Does anyone else feel like RCL does ships way better than NCL?

Looks like the Prima and Viva aren't designed for cold weather either, and they have several itineraries from Iceland!
