In November, there were reports of folks with December cruises being able to book shows online prior to their cruise.

Did online reservations ever open up for January cruises?

We sail in February, and just curious if we should keep checking.

    Thanks!

    Brad,

I am sailing on Feb. 12 on Harmony. Online booking for entertainment opened a few days ago.

  2. In my experience, cruise lines only release some of the available cabins at any particular time. I often use Costco's cruise search feature which shows all available cabins on a specific cruise.

If I see a cabin that I want, I'll book a similar one on Carnival's site and put it on hold. They I'll call Carnival and ask to be moved to the cabin I really want.

  3. I'm thinking of booking a transatlantic on Prima in an oceanview cabin. All oceanviews are on deck 5 which does not have cabins above and below. I can pick a cabin under a restaurant which shouldn't be too loud. The big unknown is: what is on deck 4?

Looking for reviews of anyone who has stayed in a Prima oceanview. How quiet (or not) was your cabin?

    Thanks.

  4. I am booked on NCL’s Dawn next October from Southampton. Since I’ve never been to any of these ports before, I was hoping to get some opinions on which ports should be seen while on an excursion, and which ports do not need one. On previous trips, I have had some really fun days just exploring some ports on my own, others not so much.

The ports for this cruise are: Zeebrugge, Belgium; Le Havre, France; Le Verdon, France; Bilbao, Spain; La Coruna, Spain; Vigo, Spain; Oporto, Portugal.

    Thanks.

I don’t know if Royal has big ships going to Santorini but one thing I noticed on my 3 European cruises this year was that all of them were in smaller and older ships. Brilliance of the Seas for the Greek Isles, NCL Dawn for the Baltic and NCL Jade for the Greek Isles ( and this one included Santorini).

Odyssey of the Seas is going to Santorini in 2024.
