  1. Thanks Julia. Yes, I have Pre-check and this is a domestic flight.
  2. Thanks. 11:45 am is the latest flight offered by Southwest for SEA-BDL. I bought refundable tickets so I can change or cancel if needed.
  3. Hello all. My August Alaska cruise is scheduled to return to Seattle at 6 a.m. Is it realistic to book an 11:45 am flight home from SEA? Thanks.
  4. I just booked this cruise from Dover in May 2025 on Miracle: https://www.carnival.com/itinerary/12-day-europe-cruise/london/miracle/12-days/enc/?itinportcode=lon&military=N&pastGuest=Y&senior=N&numGuests=2&stateCode=MA&evsel=&hideSailingEvents=true&locality=1&currency=USD&sailDate=05182025&roomType=IS
  5. I just used National Express bus 2 weeks ago. Inexpensive and fairly simple. https://www.nationalexpress.com/en
  6. I've heard that breakfast is complimentary on Johnny Rockets, but haven't verified that.
  7. I saw the September sale too, but the difference is when I clicked "Terms & Conditions" for the September sale, it said "Refundable deposit...". 🤔
  8. I always book with rate code PB4 which has always been refundable. That code is now called "October Savings Sale", but the fine print does not include the word "refundable". I'm assuming it is, because there are no other refundable rates.
  9. Not Royal, but I'm booked on an NCL Baltic cruise in May of 2025. Click here.
  10. Cruise lines have no problem leaving you behind if you're late returning from a port of call.
  11. Haven't yet cruised on the Prima class. I am a little confused because it's trying to be more upscale, but still has water slides going around (and through) cabin balconies and a race track looming over the main pool!
  12. Yes, if they are traveling without a passport and their birth certificate has a different last name.
  13. Not really. We've got 5 cruises booked next year. If it was my passport expiring it would be simple because my name matches my birth certificate.
  14. My wife's passport will be expiring next year, which means we'll most likely need to travel on one cruise without her passport. It's a closed-loop US cruise. I understand she'll need her official birth certificate. Because her last name has changed, I assume we'll need to bring a marriage certificate too. Because this is our second marriage, I imagine she'll need her first marriage certificate as well. Will she also need proof of divorce? Our marriage certificate is from a foreign country (Anguilla). Will that be an issue? I may be making this more complicated than I need to, but my biggest fear is having a cruise agent refuse us at the embarkation port. Thanks all.
  15. At least you had that option. I cancelled my 9/13 cruise because it was Quebec City to NYC. There really is no alternate route. I didn't want to be in rough seas most of the way. Good luck.
  16. Seven months...really?!!! That's crazy. I'm hoping to use my (eventual) FCC on an already booked cruise in May.
  17. It's likely that I will cancel my upcoming Canada cruise due to Hurricane Lee. 😡 I have Book Safe standard which provides a 75% FCC under the "cancel for any reason" clause. My question for anyone who's ever done this is how long do you have to use the FCC and can it be used on an already booked cruise? Thanks.
  18. Moral of the story: bring some meds, wear a mask and keep your mouth shut.
  19. I guess not. https://www.cruisemapper.com/news/12305-carnival-legend-sail-san-francisco
