https://thepointsguy.com/news/bag-tracking-apple-airtag/ This guy actually was able to tell the agent the exact location? Make sure you show them! -
We have had that issue at some hotels over the years. Weird design choice and no good for families! I have a boy and a girl so super awkward changing/bathing situation!

I would find swimsuits for both of you today. I would try to find a department store if they have those in Barcelona? -
It seems the Costa experiment is a success

Venezia May seem like a success but the Luminosa is not. I have read horrible reviews of that ship from Alaska sailings. -

I have never looked into this but would definitely consider it if the price is right? Worth getting a quote? https://www.luggagefree.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjwscGjBhAXEiwAswQqNItanbakENRnrjxDSBIZOF6ORUn9fKz7kUsWobjSplyrfAYvXGdx7RoC8soQAvD_BwE -

This happened a lot last summer with Eurpean travel. I had 3 separate friends who all lost luggage. None of them got them while on the trip. Last summer all the airlines had problems in this area. I lucked out for my trip to Rome for my Seabourne cruise but we definitely packed with losing luggage in our thought? We did 1 rolling bag with 2 days worth of stuff( including suits). We also didn’t do all of 1 persons stuff in 1 suitcase. A little bit in each. That way if 1 bag got lost we would at least have some stuff? Last summer it seemed like it was usually 1 persons bag( not the WHOLE planes!) going missing! -

And at least they made it to Barcelona! Shopping spree might be in order? I found Barcelona to be very easy for Americans. They should be able to find somewhere for essentials if needed. -
After Texas Teaches situation, you made the correct call on the luggage!

If you have tours scheduled early tomorrow you should cancel/postpone? I toured the coliseum in Rome exhausted. Memorable for all the wrong reasons. Barcelona is so easy to do on your own. You hopefully can sleep and figure it out. And the only reward for staying up so long is you will be on European time. -

Prayers she gets this resolved soon! -
I have sailed Seaborne, Celebrity, RCL and Carnival. I found the Havana Area on Horizon a real luxury area. I would recommend doing specialty dining on Horizon because the basic dinner food is definitely not up to Celebrity. I personally would not hesitate to book the Havana on the Vista class again. If on Excel class I would spring for an Excel suite instead though.

I sailed on Sunshine for the 1st time last summer. It was a nice trip. Sunshine has a great serenity area and it is the closest port to me to NC. Charleston port is pretty expensive compared to the Florida ports doing the Bahamas. I think it prices a lot of people out? I have a 4 day booked again this s summer. Want to take advantage of having such a close port as long as I can. Personally I did not find the ship rowdy.

How crowded do these new big ships feel?
Thenagers replied to sam73's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I just did Mardis Gras the week before Easter. It was full capacity. Didn’t seem too crowded except a few times? On embarkation day the bars were super busy( hard to get noticed) and the buffet area crazy. I also found the center stage area over crowded for Bingo and shows? It was also a long wait the 1st formal night for your time dining. Basically it felt well thought out except for those certain times. I have felt more crowded on some of the older ships. -
I wrote a review of Faster to Fun on my Mardis Gras spring break cruise. I loved Faster to fun Pre Covid on horizon and Glory. Both had tender ports, room was ready at embarkation and our luggage was pretty early. On the recent Mardis Gras cruise we saw little benefits besides guest services line? Our friends without it boarded maybe 10 minutes after us and their luggage arrived before ours? We boarded at 11 and our luggage didn’t make until almost sail away? Most of our hall had theirs before us? Dropping off luggage was fine but not sure the room was cleaned well in the rush? We didn’t have a tender port this time and priority debarking didn’t matter because we carried off our luggage. Definitely not worth $149. I believe we paid $109 on Horizon in 2019 and felt we got our money’s worth?

I just sailed on Mardis Gras last month and our Ocean Suite was ready when we boarded.

We just did this last month. My daughter and husband just carried an extra key card. Separate from the S And S card. It just opened the doors. Actually was nice because my husband’s regular S and S card opened her room I so we could check up on her. 17 year olds need to be monitored!

We always fly to Fort Lauderdale when we cruise out of Miami. Hotels are cheaper there and the Uber ride isn’t that bad? Definitely worth looking at? We usually fly Southwest or Jet Blue direct. Worth looking? I’m sure some airlines fly there direct from Detroit?
