  1. I like the different comments about the necklace/bracelet medallion. Although this will be new for me, I had already thought about the bracelet before I read these comments. My question. Is there a difference in price between the necklace and bracelet?
  2. I don't know if I will be wanting to hook up to the computer, but here is my question. I am planning on purchasing the Premier Package, or the most expensive one. I believe that includes the use of the Internet Cafe. Is there a limit on how long you use the computer, or an extra cost once you hook up to it, and if so, how much and for how many minutes?
  3. As some have mention, I always bring extra CASH. Even though I will have the major package and it covers ALL the tips, I always try to tip with CASH for those I generally see quite often who takes care of me.
  4. Thank you for letting me know the lighthouse is not available to go inside.
  5. Thank you. That should be helpful.
  6. I liked your report on the Ocean Now delivery, as this will be something new to me. That was a good suggestion. When ordering something and knowing it might take about 20 minutes, just be looking for one of the delivery people, as it will make it easier on them as well. Now you didn't tip, did you? I know before this was started, normally we would tip, but if we have the main package, that should cover tips, or that is what I was told.
  7. Thank you ALL for your suggestions, and I'm sure I will find something to do, but it is just that I have always had someone else to be with. Yes I had already planned on taking a book or two, as well as someone suggested, "people watch." Actually that is what I like to do at the airport, while waiting for my flights. As suggested, am planning on taking a marker, so I can mark the things that I might like to check out. Yes, I'm sure my sons/wives will be a the pool. while not at port. Living in MO, and I just came in from outside, CLEANING off two vehicles of snow/ice of around 4- 5". Naturally it didn't all come off, but at least the vehicles are where I can see to drive now.
  8. C-Boy yes I remember my mother always trying to have Mrs. Dash on hand when I was growing up, and now that I'm an adult with family, I have bought it a few times too.
  9. TheMichael, I agree with what you said. 8 of us are to be on the Regal next month. I guess we will find out about the food as well. As there are MANY choices to eat on the ship, I'm sure we will FIND something we will like to eat. I agree, the waiters/waitress cannot be blamed if the food doesn't taste the way the customer wants it to taste. After all, not all of us have the SAME taste buds. 🙂
  10. I agree with Dog, we are doing our cruise in February, and would like your input as well.
  11. The Medallion is all NEW to me, and I have not used it as yet. I had read that if we wanted to order something to our room or anywhere else we might be, we could do it through the medallion. My question, how can I find out what is on the MENU for me to order?
  12. I don't know if this will happen, but the closer it gets to our February cruise day, I'm thinking it might. I have done many cruises down through the years, and have always had someone to hang around with if I wanted to. I am to go with my 3 sons/d-i-l's, as well as another friend, but she may not go because of health issues that have started. I am OVER 70 years old, although most people think I look/act younger. I know my family has no problem with me hanging around with them during the daytime (providing my friend does not go), but what would you suggest that I check out to see/do on the Regal on sea days?
  13. Wally and Exploring, thank you both for your suggestions, as they both sounded very good to me.
  14. Chrysalis, thank you for your answer. This will help too.
  15. Wallyj, thank you for your information. Yes I felt that since I really do very little alcohol, that I really didn't need the Premier package. After my son started naming everything that was including, and what might not be included, I figured it would be for the best. Another reason, since there will be 7 others, and they are eating at the specialty restaurant, I "don't" want to be left out, if you get my drift? 🙂 There are a couple things that are included, but I don't plan to use them, but I think it will be fine.
  16. Rick and Jeannie, thanks for the "heads up" in regard to the Gelato location and information.
  17. Exploringtheglobe, in regard to getting the 3 pictures, even though they really were not the ones that you wanted. What is the best way to choose ONLY 3 pictures to be printed? Just checking every day to see how the pictures they day/night before turned out? Can you pick out one or two, and then maybe a day later pick out the 3rd one? Do you know how that works?
  18. It is around 4:15AM, and I just got on the computer, and FOUND you great Regal review with pictures, and look forward to see the rest. There are 8 of us planning on doing the Regal for the first time the 25th February. Not the same itinerary, but the same ship. 🙂
  19. Rick and Jeannie, I believe you were on the Regal, and we are to be on it less than 2 months. As I have never had gelato, but have heard plenty about it, can you give me an idea what deck/area this might be at?
  20. At this point, it looks like I will probably get the $80 package per day. My question if you know. I do some alcohol, but not much. In the place of the regular alcohol drinks, can I ask for the virgin instead, or does it have to be soda instead? Also, do I understand with this package there are ONLY 3 8 x 10 pictures they print, as the picture package, but we are able to pick the 3 we want printed off, correct?
  21. Thank you for your response. I'm not trying to put you on the spot, but do you have an idea when (night) this is done, once the cruise has started? As I said, it will be 23 years since I did this, and I want to post that picture of me back then, and the one that I hope to have taken this time too. I really don't care for the Champaign, just doing the tower, although I know it is much shorter than the one I did 23 years ago.
  22. Thank you ALL for your responses to my beach towel/pool question. That is good, as that will be one less item that I will have to take in my luggage, as my sons say I TAKE my whole house with me. 🙂
  23. I know most ships are different on how they handle/do some things. The last ship I was on a couple years go, we did not have to sign in for the towel, and also did not have to sign the towel back in. If you know, what is Regal Princess practice on this? Generally I take a beach towel, but since the last ship I was on furnished the towels, that was less for me to take in my luggage. I just wanted to make sure I had to take a beach towel if we have to sign in/out Regals towels.
  24. reedprincess, thank you for your response to my question also.
