  1. We plan to be on the Regal the 25th of this month, and the 8 of us are booked for Sabatini's. Guess we'll see (I had read that there is a LOT of food to eat with several courses) how we like it. As someone mentioned, everyone has different opinions, and I do like to read them, but I go with the "thinking" this may be better than what some people say. 🙂
  2. On the Regal the 25th of this month, I will look forward to checking out the lotion and see if I like it too. 🙂
  3. As someone mentioned and I had thought about this. Since 7 of our group is ordering the Premier Package, and even though I may not use everything that it includes, when it comes to the specialty restaurants, and other things, I want to STILL be with them when they eat.
  4. llcaptain, we could have done the Regal on the 18th like you will be doing, but that is my birthday, and I want to celebrate it here at home, so we plan to do the next week, or the 25th.
  5. Still following along,(I have told some of our family members that we "might" run into some bad winds and are not able to go to the port", and I know we will be fine, no matter what.) and I was glad to read that one of the facilities had thin pizza crust as well. As someone mentioned, and I can understand peoples disappointments, (we do have a driver at one of the ports that is to take us around for the day, but if the weather is bad, I'm sure he will understand why our ship is not there) I would rather the Captain keeps us safe, then run into problems with the weather. As the expression goes, "better to be safe and than sorry.
  6. The 8 of us are STILL having issues with Princess guest website taking our "off the ship" information for our flight. We are to catch the flight at 12:40 (just a tad after noon), and the ship arrives at 7:00AM, with taking possibly an hour to get to the airport. The message keeps kicking out, saying there is NOT enough time once off the ship to make our flight. Duh!
  7. I am like you, don't need all the things listed with the Premier package, but I AM a person that WANTS my pictures, as they ARE my memories, so thus, that is why I decided to get the Premier package, as it covers ALL photos, no matter whether they are taken on/off the ship!
  8. As LAcruiser88 said, WHY go to the SAME place every day for lunch. To me, there are plenty of options to choose from.
  9. I am like you, I won't be using everything that is in the Premier package, but as my son said, "I am tired of them nickel and dimeing me every time I turn around, so when I get the premier package, "everything" that I will be using will/should be covered!
  10. I'm just adding my 2cents worth here. As far as I know, that is the correct number. Our cruise is the 25th of this month, and I was having an issue with the Princess guest forum area that needed to be filled in. I called that number, and "finally" got through to someone. To make the looooooooooooong story short, it was BAD! I could barely understand (she sounded like she had mush in her mouth trying to talk) the lady, and finally ask her where she was, and I think she was in the Philippines, or something like that. I don't have an issue with anyone in any foreign country working, but I NEED to understand what they are saying, and finally told her I could not understand what she was saying, and she didn't seem to know what I was asking about in the first place, so I hung up!
  11. Although our cruise is the 25th of this month on the Regal, we booked our BIG package too, and they did charge my credit card then. I don't know if they will do yours, but everyone (8 of us) received $25 OBC for booking the BIG/I think it is called Premier package as well.
  12. Cruisemom67, I see you are a teacher. The 8 of us plan to do the Regal the 25th of this month. Both my son/d-i-l work for the school, and it would have been better (money wise) for them to take off during school break, but at least this way, they won't have to deal with a lot of children, like they normally do on a daily basis. 🙂
  13. I just discovered your posting, and I plan to follow along. There are 8 of us that will be doing the Regal for the first time, the 25th of this month. I like your pictures, and also posting the Princess Platter. I was glad to see that the different food establishments, it shows the time they are open/closed/deck, which saves time, from getting there and FIND them being closed.
  14. We are to do the Regal the 25th of this month, for a 7 day cruise. The cruise starts/ends on Sunday. The first formal night is Monday night which is a sea day, and the last formal "dress to impress" night is on Friday.
  15. All I can say is the flight FROM the ship information, we're leaving in the Princess Guest flight forum, even though it looks like it is not taking it for none of my family, and that might still be true. (We can always call/check with the guest relations to make sure.) I know they don't need the flight TO information, as we are coming in the day before. Thanks for letting me know that we can probably get on the ship after 12:00. All I know is in the many cruises I have done, the information of the (general) TIME we do disembarkation from the ship is given to us the night before. We do have a holding place we go to on the last day, until our number is called. As far as I know, they go by the "flight schedule time", as the time we disembark the ship. For the people who are not flying or have a very early flight, they generally are the first ones that get off the ship.
  16. Thank you both for your input. In the meantime I text my family members, and they ran into the SAME situation as myself. Yes, even though I said Galveston, it was the Houston/Hobby Airport. We are to have transportation from our hotel (staying the night before cruise), to the ship, and then the transportation picking us up after our cruise. My d-i-l said to just LEAVE our information in, and see what happens, even though we are getting this message. I did post back and said if nothing else works, we'll just have to go to guest services. Once again, thank you for trying to help!
  17. Racj846, I appreciate what you posted to me, that since we were not using Princess EZAir, I needed to put our info in. I went to the area that was described (my son WATCHED me do it), and put in ONLY "From Ship" and the information that it ask for. It did not ask for a "flight time". It ask for only the flight #, where to, and location flying to, as well as the date. As far as I know, Regal ship is to arrive at 7:00AM. Our flight is to leave 12:40PM, or just a tad after noon. As far as I know, it takes about an hour to get from the ship to the airport, and we already have our transportation booked through someone else. Each time I put this in, I would get a message: THIS FLIGHT DEPARTS TOO EARLY TO RELIABLY MAKE YOUR FLIGHT AFTER ARRIVAL. I even CALLED Princess, and that was a JOKE! 😞 😞 They were NO help at all!
  18. OK, I think I will "try" to find that area and put our information in, as we did not book through EZAir.
  19. HotRoot, the reason I am "interested" in it, is 24 years ago, I poured the champagne in the tower, and I WANT to do it again. 🙂 Yes, as Paula MacFAn said, it is a photo time, and when a person PAYS for something, they want to get it. 🙂 SargassoPirate, do we ever LOOK at the pictures again??? For me, YES. I am very old fashion in some ways, and I have MORE picture albums than anyone else, and that is MY way of looking at pictures, although I have some on my phone as well. Jwattle exactly. It is for ME, reliving MY special memories. Paula MacFan, yes I knew you responded to me WHEN the champagne tower was to be, but I never knew what deck/location it was until now. Thank you for those that responded to the "location/deck of where the champagne tower is.
  20. We have booked the Symphony MDR for our dinners, when we are not going to one of the specialty restaurants. As far as I know, the Symphony MDR is close to the end of the ship on Deck 5. If you have seen/done the champagne tower recently, can you tell me the "Deck and Location" of the Champagne tower? I know it is also formal night, and I believe that is when the champagne tower is done. As you can probably guess, I want to do it ALL, but I want to make sure I DO the Champagne tower, as it has been 24 years since I did it before!
  21. Thanks for "showing" that to me, but Candy4040 says I don't need to do this? I'm a little confused. 😞 As I said we are flying in the day before, and I'm thinking ???, someone said we could line up/start getting on the ship from 11:00 on???
  22. Thanks for ALL your input. Paula MacFan, thanks for letting me know they will deliver a paper asking for our disembarkation time choices. I knew in all my cruises, I have always had something like that, and that is good to know.
  23. Thank you for your input on my question. So for the demonstration and behind the scenes presentation, is there a charge for that? Yes, I will definitely be reading the daily events as well, the night before, and MARKING it with my pen, if it is something that I might want to see/do. 🙂
  24. My first question is, how do we know what time we will be boarding the ship? I started to put our flight (we are not booking our flight through Princess) information in, but it dawned on me, we are flying into Galveston, TX the day BEFORE, staying overnight, and boarding the ship the next day. So how do we know what time we will board the ship? Is there an area in Princess website, where we put our flight information in for when we are leaving the ship? I'm used to the cruise line asking for our flight schedule to/from the ship, so they would schedule us the time to board, and the time to leave the ship. What I seen on Princess website didn't seem to be what I'm used to seeing on our cruise line websites.
  25. In the next 24 days, the 8 of us hope to be on the Regal Princess for the first time. If YOU have been on this ship within the past year or less, what would YOU recommend we SEE or DO, that you enjoyed on this ship?
