  1. Generally the lower you are and the more midship you are, the less you feel waves.
  2. You can't when you're interporting and not out of the primary port. But as stated, you can go to the Attic on deck 4 to do it.
  3. Interporting is when there are two primary ports in one itinerary. For Wonder of the Seas, guests can embark and disembark their cruise in Barcelona or Rome. Barcelona is considered the "main" port and all of the itineraries in the app treat it that way. So you can't use the app to book shows if you board in Rome. Their IT team hasn't found a way to make it work yet.
  4. Not while you're interporting. Rome isn't considered the main port city for this itinerary.
  5. We had originally booked through TAP portugal a year ago, but they changed their flight schedules to where return flight was a day earlier. We booked a different airline for the return trip. We wanted business class on the way out, so I kept an eye out and found a deal for roughly the same price with a much better itinerary (arriving at 9 AM instead of 7:30 PM), only 3 1/2 hour layover. We're really excited that the original airline changed their dates, because we were able to get a better time slot. IT did end up costing us about twice as much as the original tickets, but the return tickets + the original tickets were roughly the same price and at least now our transport times are much slower.
  6. They're currently requiring all shows to be reserved on board for all RCCL ships. If you're interporting from Rome, I'd recommend going to one of the areas immediately after boarding to book your shows, although because of the way they're doing it, you should be able to reserve any spots the 2nd half of the cruise as the people boarding in Barcelona won't have access yet.
  7. Just curious, what was the restaurant called? I know your post is old but we're going to be staying in Monti and I'm looking for recommendations lol
  8. Any recommendations for restaurants specifically in the Monti neighborhood for dinner? We're going to be doing a lot of walking so don't want to stray too far from AirBnB for dinner. Not looking for something super expensive but aren't afraid to pay for high quality food either. Would prefer a traditional roman food place which has some vegetarian options (shouldn't be a problem I think). There's just so many options it's hard to hammer down what's good and what isn't.
  9. We're thinking about doing one of the intercity trains from Rome to Civitavecchia. Do you think it would be worth doing first class for the extra luggage room?
  10. FCC regulates which radio bands, frequencies and what type of information is used in what. That's why.
  11. You can still board I believe, you just have to undergo testing.
  12. Probably similar level of service - more families than Celebrity, a little bit more energy.
  13. Yeah we’re planning on taking a self test before we leave and bringing an extra self test each and also masking up taking all the precautions we can.
  14. Sigh, this part stresses me out. I wish they would offer complimentary testing at the ports since it’s required to cruise. I assume we’ll get one in Rome the day before we depart or get the proctored tests.
  15. I'm just kind of piggybacking, but is a 1:15 departing flight okay for a 7 AM dock time in Civitavecchia with a private transfer? That's the latest flight we could find to the US.
  16. Sounds like you might be talking out of somewhere where the sun doesn't shine. My wife and I will be on Wonder out of Rome on September 1st, we're super excited for the trip as it'll be our honeymoon.
