    What is the grill? Do you mean The Beach House which is part of the buffet during the day and a restaurant in the evening?

    Love the monkeys. I have an original PG Tips one who is my cruising mate. Someone to talk to instead of myself!

    Very expensive. Get mine done before departure and on a 35 night one would have infills done while ashore ( they are very good at it in Caribbean!!)

    On Ventura, Beach House and Glass House are not formal, but of course they do charge extra there. Same on Britannia I think.

    Seven Sisters no better than some other waterfalls. Especially in Summer when less impressive. No big deal!

    Enjoyed your reports. Reminded me of my first cruise when I was in awe of everything. Have done scores of them since and the excitement of boarding never wears off. Hope you enjoy many more.

    Bergen is good, particularly the funicular up to the forest area. Great views and walks and a lovely restaurant up there.

    These small fjord villages have very little to offer. Maybe a couple of coffee shops and a souvenire shop ( they are all the same). Need to do excursions. The likes of bigger places like Stavanger and Bergen however offer more interest to wander on your own.

    Absolutely. Maintenance crew can go all along outside the cabins if necessary.

    Or an electric one which I had to get for Mum as I was not strong enough.

    Yes, you should at least get a can each! Apparently have heard tastes tinny. Tap water probably tastes better!

    Was that the 23April cruise? Never seen the ship so empty. No atmosphere at all!

    That must be it. I cruise solo! Bit mean though as I sometimes pay double fare!

    Does that pier look a bit short for the ship? Looks like only one exit area open which surely will cause queuing!

    Did like Eva in Metropolis though. Not too loud and no singing!

    Did one of them not have a label on it saying "keep this one and steward will bring you five more" - at a cost?

    Passion star is my favourite martini. Try the coffee one too!

    The big ships should stick to container ports and leave the fjords to smaller ones. Best of the fjord trips I have done was on Fred! Trouble with Iona is LNG! Bit like electric cars with not enough charging points!

    Used to have litre bottles, but cutting down on plastic now. Take your own water bottle, fill from bathroom tap, chill!!
