My Verizon plan includes Canada and Mexico. I can also choose one other country to include. I get one free 24-hr period per month for any other country besides those three, and I think it's $10 per day after that. Edit: Actually, I just looked up my plan. My Ultimate Unlimited includes 210 countries I can be in and no extra charge for calls and texts. While I'm in the US, I can call/text Canada and Mexico and one other country unlimited. My husband's plan is the one above.

We're always exceptionally nice to wait staff everywhere we go. The bartenders get to know my husband quickly. No, he's not a drunk, he's just nice, happy, and a lot of fun. We've even had a bartender hang out with our group off ship at the beach. 🙂

We definitely establish a rapport with the bartenders. lol Hopefully it won't be a problem, but if it is, it's really no big deal. Thank you everyone for your replies.

Thank you! I know you can on RCI, but we haven't sailed on Carnival in a while. They didn't have the Cheers Package then. If we're told no, it's no big deal. I was just curious. Thanks again!

I searched, but couldn't find the answer. My husband and I will each have the Cheers Package. Let's say I'm getting ready for dinner, and he goes to the bar to get drinks for us. Is he allowed to take my sign and sail card with him and bring two drinks back (one for each card) to the cabin? Or do I have to go get my own.

We were on Deck 9 in the middle (balcony). Very quiet.

We did the Amiga Island excursion in April and it was AMAZING! So relaxing and so beautiful.

My husband was showing symptoms of covid but hadn't tested yet (he's stubborn). We were sleeping facing each other one morning and he sneezed right in my face. I actually had to wipe my face. He tested positive three days later. I tested same day he tested positive. Negative. I tested again three days later. Negative. Never showed any symptoms. How I didn't get it after having to wipe a covid infected sneeze off my face I'll never understand.

We, on the other hand, are EXCITED she's going to Galveston! We had to fly to Ft Lauderdale in April for our Allure cruise, but Galveston is within driving distance for us.

Email rcldining@rccl.com and ask that you all be seated together. Give them your ship name, date of cruise, and your reservation number. Let them know that your reservations are all linked. We did this before our cruise in April to ask for a 4-top table.

They asked for all of that while we were in line to board. Passport (took a picture of it), took our picture, checked vaccination status (and took pictures of vaccine cards), asked for credit card and scanned it. Everything. It truly did not matter to them that we had already uploaded all that stuff. This was at Port Everglades in Ft Lauderdale on the Allure in April. And they were doing this for everyone in every line around us. I guess uploading it might inform you of issues ahead of time, but in our case it was a waste of time as we knew our documentation was in order. They could shorten the time to get on board if they would just use the information uploaded ahead of time.

You only need to pick an arrival time day of check-in (if you want a specific time). Everything else you can do later, or not at all. They will check everything at the port and take your picture, even if you have already uploaded everything into the app. They did us, anyway. It was a waste of time to upload everything.

It was pretty chaotic at Port Everglades in April. There were no designated lines for timeframes. We were 30 minutes early and got in line anyway. No one checked to see if we were within our window, and I never heard any port employee call out times to line up. Once inside, it went smoothly.

If your reservations are linked, you can pick a check-in time for every reservation linked. You don't have to provide anything else. They check everything anyway at the port, and take pictures of everything. They didn't care that we had uploaded everything anyway. The only other thing you will need to do to complete check-in is the health questionnaire the day before embarking.
