  1. But probably a lot of construction...
  2. Google and You Tube are your best friends as to finding patters and menus...
  3. I'm relatively certain no one knows but the higher-ups at Princess.
  4. Obviously, you are new to cruising. Yes, cancellations and changes of itinerary happen all of the time. This unfortunately is unavoidable for several reasons including weather, port permissions, etc., and are not due to Princess. Why in the world would Princess would use anything as an excuse to not go anywhere when all of the arrangements have been made? That makes no sense.
  5. The problem is that a lot of passengers only care about their convenience and self-interests, thus the number of complaints, some of them petty, and some relatively serious. But the main point seems to be staff shortages and thus not so great service, hold times, cancellations, etc. I'm in the same boat so to speak... I've had two cancellations yesterday, cruises I have waited for a long time... I did contact Princess via chat, the first agent was terrible, but on the second try, I did get someone who really worked hard to rebook and issue an FCC. So, kudos to Cindy B.
  6. No, you cannot. You can upgrade up to 3 days before sailing or on the day of embarkation. That's it.
  7. This is why you always should check your statement before disembarking. Lesson learned.
  8. You will be given a selection of items you can order... Anything from pizza to salads and steak! It just depends on what is available on the app, and you will not know until you get there!
  9. You still have a lot of choices of drinks that can be delivered, just not all. I would not book through a Princess Vacation Planner by the way. You're much better off booking with a good travel agent.
  10. I don't think you can order from a specific bar. If you want a specific drink from the Good Spirits Bar, you will have to do it the old fashioned way... Go to the bar...
  11. That is what I am planning on doing! Yes, we are at least on one cruise together!
  12. But if prices increase, there must be more demand. You're never going to see the true number of available cabins so you really can't know. But I am betting demand has increased. Some of the itineraries are unusual. What about the Diamond 's reputation? Because it had a lot of Covid cases? It has undergone a drydock since then.
  13. They have not cancelled this cruise. I should know, I am booked on this one. The Diamond just arrived in Los Angeles to prepare for its debut on September 1. Check again in a couple of days. It may show as unavailable because it is sold out.
  14. Don't worry! It seems we have a Captain, CD, and officers! You can join the roll calls on Cruise Critic. I will be on the 9/6 and 9/11 sailings
  15. There were questions as to whether the Diamond would make it to the West Coast... And we were all concerned about our cruises. Looks like the Diamond will be ready for us! After sailing on the Regal, I am looking forward to the Promenade deck... Lounding on the Promenade deck, with a good book in hand, and a cocktail. What could be more perfect?
  16. All you will have to do is present your passport, vaccination card, and your negative test. Yes, it speeds up the process by a lot.
  17. But please remember that things change. What was available on one cruise may not be on the next one. I believe you are quite safe with Knob Creek and the Chocolate Mint martini! I will have to try one of those in September!
  18. Yes, you can have either your TA or Princess mark your booking "no upgrade." But be aware that Princess can and will change cabins. It doesn't happen often, but keep an eye on your booking. If that happens, get on the phone quickly and often times Princess will give you your cabin back. If they need it for quarantine, then you will have to change cabins. If they do change your cabin, before you call, check the deck plans, so that you can submit the next best thing, or plan B.
