  1. I'm an idiot, I've read the forum title as a FAQ not relating to the mastercard. Thank you for spotting that.
  2. Please can someone answer this. I have another question regarding the internet, we have 150 free minutes. Is there a way you can use ten minutes one day, 20 the next day until it runs out or is it all in one? Assuming you can use basic features on your phone.
  3. We sail next month, but there are 3 different destinations that have different currencies. Do you use a card like Revolut or a Monzo card to go about your spends, or do you take cash for each place? We are from UK so quite unsure what the best method is for this. Thanks
  4. I think the latter. I have been trying to look at some cruises, but struggling to find anything that's a bargain.
  5. What happens if you've already paid through an agent, but want to try and get cheaper? Is it possible, baring in mind we have a fly and cruise with overnight stay - does it work different or not?
  6. I thought it would be best to reply here. It's the 25th September sailing, and noticed there wasn't as many as I've heard. So I am assuming capacity is higher, meaning upgrade will be harder to get. It doesn't bother me too much, but it would be the icing on the cake if we did get a balcony. Both bids are on pending - one for window and one for balcony, but there's no point me looking at it until 14 days before the cruise, and every day after to see if status has changed. To be honest, I think the ship will be running at a much greater capacity then 50/60 as originally been told.
  7. 40 days we leave, it's not letting me choose the inside cabins at all to change and see what they have. I've just checked on window rooms and there's around the same left too. To my understanding this must be running at near capacity, and not 50/60 percent as I've heard?
  8. I don't know if it's in season, I've just heard the Gem is running at 50/60 percent capacity. I just want to try and reassure that the bid will be accepted, well have more chance. I don't know if there's many balcony's available, but I can try and have a look now. Patience yes, but the lowest bid we offered I think is too low, so upped it a little. I had a look and looks like 60 or so balcony's available, currently. Not sure if that's a good sign or not
  9. Ah that's annoying, mine is just because it's running at lower capacity - It's on it's way into the fair range, but not in there . But that's the most I'm willing to move in terms of how much it costs
  10. Excepted or accepted? Is it worth adding more so we're closer to fair, don't want to spend an extra $100 each on a bid when it's already $110 - I was thinking $130/140
  11. It's in the poor, but apparently the Gem is running at reduced capacity - so not sure what's best to do?
  12. Do you think it's worth adding an extra say $20 per person, for the bid
  13. If I up my bid for a balcony room, do you think it's more likely to be accepted or not? I bided as soon as I got the invite to bid, just would like that little upgrade.
  14. Not sure this is the right place, but I hope it is. As we have free at sea and a speciality restaurant booked that's free for one trip per guest, do we have to pay anything at all for this? We've prepaid gratuities, but is all our drinks included as well - given we have a drinks package? Thanks
  15. Does anyone know if Sprite/Fanta will be available with this change or is it another company providing?
  16. As @vacation44 said, good work. This will be interesting, do you think they will have Sprite and Fanta now, as well or something else as they've moved to Cola?
  17. I've tried different options, so hopefully there will be something by the time we go
  18. When looking, am I doing something wrong, it says no other rooms available?
  19. Oh perfect, I will have a look now. I just want to see if there are any balconies available for my trip!
  20. That's understandable, I hope the entertainment is enjoyable for us and there's a bit of variety. I believe it's more tailored towards Americans, so not sure what to expect from that. Some of the other ships look amazing, but I think this is a nice taster, my partner hasn't been on a cruise so I think a nice quiet introduction will go well. The brewhouse does sound right up my street.
  21. How do you see for different ships what rooms are available? I didn't know this was a feature?
  22. I have never heard of that before, but does look lovely. I will definitely have to try that. I will just ask at the bar if they have Blue Moon, and if they say no, I'll ask for that, if not cocktails and spirits. Would you go back on the gem? I know it's one of the older ships in the fleet but the itinerary caught our eye, so wanted to go
  23. Yeah, sometimes it's nice to have sweet stuff, but then I'm thinking of all the food I will be eating and the amount of weight I'll be putting on haha! Yeah, I'm aware it's beer. Sorry, should have made that clear, and yeah most places I go they serve it with an orange. But it's nice to have the variety, and if it's available, perfect.
  24. I'll bare that in mind, so just order some things you want and then if you want more get more, rather than do all in one
  25. I'm going at the end of next month, so if some stuff isn't stocked that will be a bit of a disappointment. Thankfully I'm not a wine drinker, but that would annoy me if there wasn't much to choose from. Me and my partner like ciders and I like blue moon, and they're both apparently on board
